myuhinny Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Cool I will download it tomorrow when I get up. You don't have too re-download it just add a folder. Correct path is Data\mtextures\armor\daywalker\Armor Paxk IX. doublechecking on the M at Data\Mtextures\.... for the texture pathor is the M a typeO I just used textures and dropped the file into the texture file everything is now looking correctly there does seem to be a thing with the fire spirit armor. The feet section is coming up as white. *edit I think I may see the problem opening both folders textures shows Boots.dds Boots_g.dds Boots_n.dds but mesh folder only has Boots_0.nif
lostdaywalker Posted December 14, 2012 Author Posted December 14, 2012 Site is back to driving my browser crazy. It's even slow on my phone. Needs the effect file. Uploading to MF now will post as soon as able.
lostdaywalker Posted December 14, 2012 Author Posted December 14, 2012 here is the effect file. Just drop it in. Posting new MF links to replace the other ones. http://www.mediafire.com/?gr67e3gmf4ai77g You can delete the gloves and the boot .nif in the flame armor along with the New Folders in there. They are just different ideas and various workings of the armor. they are useless and can be deleted. Updated the 1st post with new links that should all be corrected. I'll put them here too for convenience. meshes ==> http://www.mediafire.com/?7xs4b376a5q86j5 Textures ==> http://www.mediafire.com/?xpt4pr2hwn7of37
myuhinny Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 Ty download it. I hope they tackle this lag monster that seems to have gripped the site of late it is making it hard to do anything.
unspunreality Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 So... do I just need to read all 49 pages to find armors? I read the first few posts but it seems like a bunch more are added sporadically.
lostdaywalker Posted December 15, 2012 Author Posted December 15, 2012 So... do I just need to read all 49 pages to find armors? I read the first few posts but it seems like a bunch more are added sporadically. Everything I have done is updated on the first page. First three posts. Everything after, are updates/ corrections, for those who have already downloaded it before the correction so don't worry about those. I think the only one that is not is the requested eyepatch. I'm going to make a new one sooner or later.

myuhinny Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 Need armor or clothes for male character, please help. Sry for bad english. There is a person on the skychikdrens thread that has made a male outfit for children and he may make more check there.
myuhinny Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 @lostdaywalker I have a question I have been playing around with nifskope and gimp and have learned how to make parts of a outfit transparent from using a tutorial found on the nexus but it makes the parts invisible and I want to know if there is a tutorial for making something semi transparent instead of invisible as that is what I want to do?
shedidwhat Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 myuhinny In gimp, set the erasers Opacity to something other that 100% save the texture using DXT5

What shedidwhat said sounds about right, I don't use gimp so I don't know. I use Photoshop and Alpha channels. I did find out about 10 min ago that you can play with the NiAlphaProperty in NifScope. I just turned dawnguard armor semi-transparent on accident.

Like the time when I ran into to the levelers tower and found the treasure button poke poke poke hey I wonder how big I can make the pile get poke poke poke whuurl uh oh mayday mayday games going down quick pick that crap up oops too late.Or the time I decided to give my follower a pair of deadric boots of computer crashing that have 9x running speed then got the crazy idea to change her height so I used the console and changed my followers height to about 100 she was huge then I gave myself the same boots and took off running stopped and turned and was like I want to see her move. She took one step and the game was like screw you I don't think so. I was like aww that would of been so cool.
shedidwhat Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 NiAlphaProperty can be very useful but can also cause problems like... the mesh turning dark when close to a light source enabling SLSF2 Assume_Shadowmask under BSLightingShaderProperty will fix that. "some older video card drivers" dont show transparency correctly (ATI) setting Anti-Aliasing Mode to Multi-Sample AA will usually fix that Invisable armor when under water NiAlphaProprty Flags 4844 will usually fix it. (though sometimes using 4844 is not needed as transparency works fine under water) not user the reason.. Transparent texture in front of or behind another transparent texture will only show 1 texture while the other becomes invisable. not sure of a fix for that, I usually just delete 1 of them. (this could be related to the nude under water bug but not sure) and myuhinny right clicking on the mesh in NifSkope and going to Texture > Edit UV is very usefull when using Gimp for texture editing, even more so is the Export Template
perriq Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Are the in-game locations posted in this thread? I've scanned a big chunk of the thread and haven't found any indication of how to get the actual armors, and I'm worried I'm just missing it.
ShadowGirl Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 I'm having some weird issue after crafting any of the new armors, right after craft most of them usually have an autosave after level up with smithing, due all the crafting. When trying to reload this save game, the game shows "42949 Unknown location". At first thought could be my custom house with forge, but I try at the skyforge, crafted a few other stuff to try and things were ok, right after crafting any of the new armors and going to the main menu window all the saves comes like this. Anyone else having this issue? have not installed anything else besides the last pack.
lostdaywalker Posted December 17, 2012 Author Posted December 17, 2012 I have never seen that before. I have no clue how that could be happening. I'll see if I can reproduce. Just crafted a bunch and have no problem. According to Google it is corrupted save file, but all of them? I don't have a clue. Some of the meshes are 5 to 7 times bigger than vanilla and add in the textures, that makes a very large armor. Could it be that you are making too many of them at once and as it exists the forging animation its trying to save as well, and it's just too much? I am personally carrying around about 5000lbs of armor and it takes a while to scroll through the armor screen from top to bottom and have never run into this issue. Please keep me informed about what you find out. Are the in-game locations posted in this thread? failbot Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Thanks for all these mods, they are excellent! This has probably been asked but this is a long thread so sorry if this is a repeat, but how do I get the stockings with the rabbit suit? Right now I get purple ones which usually means that means I am missing something.

I did a search and found this it might help the guy posted that all of his saves became bad after a crash but down the page some he posted a solution that helped him. There is also this on youtube the persons saves say unknown location. Not sure if that is the same as what you are experiencing or not. Might also be something caused by a mod that is bad. Have you installed anything new lately? If you have I might suggest you check them out and see if anyone else is having the same problem.

Check to make sure that your textures are in the right place. textures\armor\daywalker\rabbit\ for shoes and textures\armor\daywalker\rabbit\stockings\ for stockings. Craft or Console command help "item name" 4 I'm not actually showing anything from Armor Pack IX as a craftable option. Is there a certain load order I should be using? Just double checked the .esp in the zip just to make sure. It's correct. Check the location of where you placed the folders. Load order should not matter.

Is there a certain load order I should be using? Are you sure you have the .esp turned on? I have done it before searching for the items in forge and through console and not finding anything and then leave the game to see if there is something wrong with it to find out I never even turned it on or turned the .esp on for it.
perriq Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 The .esp is turned on and located in skyrim/data along with all my other mods. The folders from the archives and their contents were copied to the same folder, merging with the Meshes and Textures folders already in existence. Edit: Just tried it as the only active equipment mod, still nothing.

[/quote'] All right, I'll try to craft one set at a time, there is another armor plugin I installed like 3 days before but already craft a set of that armor without issues and there is nothing about this issue on the nexus comments. Also, once I detect this issue just log out and restart the game and all my previous saves are ok, will do a clean save and hope that fix the issue. Gonna try and tell you about, thanks for your advice. And thanks for the Sun Magic Armor been waiting for that one for ages. There is another one that think is simple to do, The Somewhat skimpy DragonScale Armor, is just the cuirass mesh, but even for UNP still have some melons there lol. CBBE Version [original] http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/5411 UNP Version [conversion] http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/23603 Thanks in advance if ever consider doing this one.
