aarons6 Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 cool that works.. im having some issues exporting it as a nif from 3ds max.. its crashing on the geometry. usually this is because a vertex is out of place somewhere.

aarons6 Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 it has to do with 3ds max and meshes with over 100k vertices. i had this same problem with the harley quinn mesh i converted couple days ago.
aarons6 Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 finally found the stray vertices.. there were 3 in the upper body area under the mesh.. deleted those and the file exported.. there is some clipping in the hands and legs ill fix up..

aarons6 Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 i am working on that one right now. almost done i have to say this probably wont work right.. there is over 100,000 vertices.. i know in 3ds max there is an optimize modifier. im sure blender has one too.. should probably use it before you texture.. it would cut the vertices in half and significantly lower the polygon count.

aarons6 Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 i hate working with nifscope, i wish they would fix the exporting of nifs in 3ds max so the lightingshaderproperty doesnt get hosed i think i almost got all the clipping.. i still think the hands are too big.. i got it all done but the hands arent right.. in the game they get crushed. looking at the model i think the cbbe hands are bugged. using the default game hands they are almost half the size.

NitriShape Upper:3 need texture "vest texture" not "armor texture" Upper:6 need texture "slip texture" Lower:2 need texture "leather red texture"
