Basic questions about installing body mods (Bodyslide, HDT)

Ok, help me out here guys. I'm tired, I have little patience and I just want simple things but I'm getting increasingly confused by the myriad of tutorials, long readmes and 3-20minute long video tutorials

 

Here's what I want:

-Use of Bodyslide

-Normal UNP body, the most regular there ever was, no massive bewbs, no massive ass, dont give a fuck about the pussy as long as it looks nice

-Bodyslide is supposed to be a tool that can let me tweak that basic body as much as I want into something I deem perfect

-Heard HDT is a good thing

-Dont give a fuck for sex mods either, for now

-A non-skimpy vanilla gear replacer that works with the precious improvements

 

Here is what I have

-XPM32 maximum skeleton

-UNP main base body  (If bodyslide works, i should ditch this right?)

-SOS light

-Digitigrade Khajiits and argonians

-FNIS behavior

And then I tried installing also

-Bodyslide and Outfit Studio

-All in One HDT animated pussy or something...

 

What's the problem

I had to battle a bit with installing FNIS on MO, but I think I got it right now

For some reason, the bodyslide tool doesnt do shit.

I can launch the program, mess with the sliders, press "build" It says it generated meshes in the game's folders

Then there's nothing there

 

I'm also confuse as to where do I find the best vanilla replacers for both male and female that use all the previously described functionality, body slide sliders etc, according to my preference and WITHOUT being skimpy remodels. I'm just confused

I take it for experienced skyrimers this must sound basic right?

So... anyone wanna lend a hand?

Yes you don't need a body replacer if you are using bodyslide as you can create that body in it. There are many UUNP body types to choose from. There is a HDT body to select if you want the bodies to have HDT with bouncing boobs butt and belly and there is also the special body which has the animated pussy as well.

 

When you build the files they should be found in your games skyrim character mesh folder they will overwrite the nif files that are in there. If you are using a custom race you'll have to copy those nifs from that folder and then replace your custom races body with those nifs.

Managed to actually create bodies that exist somewhere, since the "Build" button was doing nothing

Ctrl+Click creates them on a folder with stuff I can drag and drop

BUT...

It's not creating hands or feet, so there's still something I'm doing wrong or another mod I need to customize again

 

Also DLed UUNP Vanilla Outfits Bodyslide and used the tool to create meshes with batch create... I think this works, but i still got the hands problem

You have to do it for each body part first build the body then pick the hands you want and build them and then pick the feet and then build the feet you want make sure if you created the special body that you select the special hands and feet so that they fit right.

I am going to tell you exactly what I would do, the things I am recommending are just that my recommendations not everything here

is %100 required steps you need to take:

 

 

CREATING YOUR PLAYER BODY:

 

1.) You need to download bodyslide with the UUNP Special preset (Working Vagina and Physics)

 

2.) Create a preset body or select one thats already built under UUNP Special (You can get it to look like any body anyway)

 

3.) Make sure to make it how you want for both Weights.

 

4.) Once thats done you build it. (This will build both Weights of your preset BODY ONLY)(Also you should do this with UUNP Special Hands & Feet)

 

5.) Save the preset

 

BUILDING AN OUTFIT:

 

0.) Do it yourself manually (If you don't know how move on to step 1)

 

1.) Find a UUNP Bodyslide conversion.. here we go http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/85411/?

 

2.) Make sure your Preset is selected then left click on the Magnifying glass next to "Group Filter Bar" then select "Choose Group"

 

3.) Find the Group it should be named something like" UUNP VANILLA" select it

 

4.) Now click "Batch Build" Below and then click "Build"

If you have questions ask  Also note that UUNP body is a universal body it has working vagina and weights etc and has more verts than a CBBE body.

Redownload Caliente Outfit Studio and when it installs make sure to select UUNP Special.

 

You will have to build 3 things:

 

- UUNP Special Body

- UUNP Special Hands

- UUNP Special Feet

 

Make sure the preset you made or chose is selected always even when building outfits.

Had to mess a bit with the locations it was saving the generated meshes to as it wasn't as automatic as it says it was.

Sometimes it saved stuff in override, sometimes somewhere else

Probably because I like to keep my modding tools outside the game folder

Anyway, finding the right ones, moving the preset file to the correct folder and using it for feet and hands too worked.

This is how it works:

 

When saving a file say for instance femalebody_0.nif, it is going to find in your data folder(virtual) where that file is located and then overwrite it, but say the femalebody_0.nif was located in a BSA file or it isn't located at all within the virtual data folder. It will then write the file into the overwrite folder.

 

Glad you figured it out Here is some files I recommend:

 

1.) Book Of UUNP (In optional files there is the bodyslide content start at 05 - Volume 1 The Book of Iron and Steel - HDT Bodyslide Files) there is 5 books

 

2.) UUNP MiniDress

 

3.) NorthGirl Outfit UUNP

 

4.) Immersive Armors UUNP

 

5.) Tera Armors UUNP 

 

Remember to click on the group "Magnifying Glass" so its easier to build entire groups.

 

I hope you're using UUNP Special it has mostly every preset in it even basic UNP body in it if you prefer, I'll mention also something alot of people tend to forget when building their body is to build the textures for their vagina, you'll go to:

 

ModOrganizer\mods\BodySlide 2 and Outfit Studio\CalienteTools

 

You'll find a folder called TexBlendUUNP the program contained in there has to be opened through Mod Organizers virtual system to work correctly. What it does is add vagina textures (Normal, Specular) maps to your body texture, so if your vagina looks ugly or very white/textureless this is why.

Hey again. The original question is solved and I'll mark it again, but I have a new question on the same topic

 

See, I installed HDT physics extensions

And now I'm seeing it doesnt respect the original design of the body I do in bodyslide. I even tried changing it to counter the effects, but I ran out of of sliders to move to fix it and keep it looking the way I wanted

 

So is this a thing?

Am I to just live with it or is there a way to fix it?

I wanted my game boobs to look round and perfect, but the HDT thing is making them look separated and with less "squeezed" cleavage

I want, if possible some thing in between those 2 pics since I made bodyslided tweaks to try to restore the intended look but I'm failing miserably.

 

I'm not complaining "it looks bad" but it bothers me that it's not doing what I want.

Is there a slider, or an ini perhaps that fixes this or something?
