Missing Eyes/Black and Khajiit Face Messed Up

So I decided to get back into Oblivion, modded the heck out of it, and now its a little weird in the beginning when creating a character. All vanilla races (seems all) are missing eyes or they're dark no matter what I choose.

I am using HGEC for females, Robert for males, and the only cosmetics I can think of are Khajiit/Tabaxi replacer and some custom races.

 

Edit: It seems only brown, blue, and green don't work. Amber, Pine, and Grey do.

There is a section on Archive invalidate that may help you as well as sorting when including Lwpk mods.

First sort your Mods !!!! And Archive invalidate.

Then try it the eyes are right.

 

If not: some of your custom races has overwritten the vanilla eyes nif or textures.

 

Check your game folder if you have

meshes\Characters\Imperial\EyeLeftHuman.nif  ( and right)

meshes\Characters\Argonian\EyeLeftArgonian.NIF  ( and right)

Normally those nif are in the bsa not in your folders, so if you have the files they are from one of your installed mods.

 

The same with the textures ( braun, blue and green are the vanilla colors )

textures\Characters\Eyes\eyeBrown.dds

textures\Characters\Eyes\EyeDefault.dds

textures\Characters\Eyes\eyeGreen.dds

Also those dds files should be in the packed bsa, if you have them in your folders they are from a Mod.

 

Ok if the brown, blue and green eyes don't work :

Wrong eye nif in meshes\Characters\Imperial\

Or wrong texture for the eye nif.

There are 3 different often used eye types. You need the right textures for the nif.

 

Before I explain more tell me if you have meshes\Characters\Imperial\EyeLeftHuman.nif  ( and right)

and textures\Characters\Eyes\eyeBrown.dds , EyeDefault.dds  , eyeGreen.dds
