Not entirely factual.  I use ADEC body for females and the CBBE version of the strapon, and other than clipping around the backside (the back straps of the strapon disappear into the body), it works and looks fine WITHOUT using a nude bodysuit.  Now, if you are using a non-nude body replacer as your standard (CBBE nevernude versions for example), then you should set a nude bodysuit anyway, regardless of using the tusk.

It shouldn't be anything to do with this mod, as its just an item. Anyone else having crashes?

Try loading a different save and then loading the one that CTDs. If that works you're seeing a known Skyrim quirk and its likely a save done after that will not have a problem. I see it mostly if I save when I am outside with a far view in bad weather.

Interesting, I also have had this little quirk where a most recent save would not load but loading an older and then loading the newest from within the game works. What's more interesting is you mentioning bad weather. If I remember correctly I've only really had this problem when it's raining...

I rarely ever have this problem with indoor saves though I do have one save right now that's indoors and has to be loaded after loading a different save first but its rare.

I'm not getting crashes, but the strapon isn't showing up in the forge or with console commands, any suggestions.

That mod is an extremly good idea but I'd have two recomandations which seems very important to me:

 

-The strap look very thin/sharp unlike the tusk from Haelga

 

-Because you make it start from the pubic area instead of vaginal area it cause bad alignement between the strap and his "target".
