windpl Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 I think that is new bug that comes with update. I had this bug like 3x times already my wast army (50k+) was stopped by 4k. It looked like they(enemy) were slaughtered and at some point when there was only few of them(enemy) like 500 or 1k, my people start dying like flies and in same time they did 0 damage to enemy army. But this new dlc is fun, you can kidnap people for ransom or add them to your harem ;D
windpl Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Wow, that adds a whole new level to the asshole. I suppose that Vikings were assholes ;
BlackHayate Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 my grip with the game was a previous patch that allowed your vassels to plot with each other in droves. My kingdom that spaned from Ireland to modern-day Morocco to all of Northern Europe just started to rebel in droves and droves and droves -.- Who knew that a Irish King would not be liked by the 3 generation conquered french
FallenWarrior Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 But this new dlc is fun, you can kidnap people for ransom or add them to your harem ;D Sounds fun Will have to take a look at the dlc in a few days

windpl Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 But this new dlc is fun, you can kidnap people for ransom or add them to your harem ;D sword of islam??? :huh: The Old gods. + You can play as pagan now. + Looting system, pagans can loot neighbourhood (other religion) counties. * You can also loot not border counties but you have to bring ship along. * When you siege you often capture characters * Some pagans can force prisoner to become concubine. + New religion system. + Rebels are lead by characters now, and have agenda + Revised tech system, now you accumulate gold in research and spend it directly to a project. + 3 New empires can be created. + New starting date 800 something. + New events And maybe something else that I cant recall atm.

formel Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Brought the game that weekend on the steam deal: Now I'am also kind of adicted to it. As soon as you understand how the game works and how things are done it is realy fun. Sadly the tutorial is superficial in everything else than warfare. Does someone have good mod recommendations (beside the game of thrones mod)?

nonusnomeni Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 yep that game is not to take seriously she's good only for wasting time
formel Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 As I see it there is no game that can be taken serious. And this games those does so far a good job on time wasting. I'am more amused than angered by such situtations
ds64 Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 just found out this game about a week ago, and this game is addicting. by the way, I found this pic, I was wondering if this is a photoshop or a mod? If this is a mod, then this is f*cking EPIC!!! LOL

FallenWarrior Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Does anyone know if it's bloody possible to change the name of a province? crusader kings map definition Well, that's bloody weird. The province is named correctly there (Danzig), but in-game it's named Gdansk

FallenWarrior Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Ah, that explains it then. Still feels bloody hasty to push out something without asking the community, since it wasn't there before the old gods dlc and the latest patch/es
Veetor Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Can anyone write a Rape a prisoner decision ? That would be cool, but I don't know how to mod
windpl Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Ah, that explains it then. Still feels bloody hasty to push out something without asking the community, since it wasn't there before the old gods dlc and the latest patch/es They actually fixed it, "Danizg" was founded around 980 - 997ad so it wasn't GERMAN. We were sleeping at history lessons don't we?

We were sleeping at history lessons don't we? Well, nothing says it was a province of Poland either. And if we're going to be more "modern" accurate the province name would have been " urbs Gyddannyzc" (in 997 AD) according to Adalbert of Prague. But since the province is under the Wend culture a German name would have been used. But if we're going to be even more historically accurate, then it would have been the Vandals name for the province instead. Shall we discuss when the correct starting date for The Viking Age as well? It ain't the date that the old gods dlc starts As the saying goes: If it ain't broken don't fix it Swedish history classes are very basic because of how the modern school system is built. You learned even more during the good old days. Which makes you study history the more fun way, on your own. So who was sleeping on history classes, eh?

If you refer to year 997 then "Danzig" was in Poland border, however Poland was called in Dagome iudex as Civitas Schinesghe its ruler was Mieszko The First, father to first Polish king. Actually in 997 Prince(King later) Bolesław I the Brave (son of Mieszko) was already ruler of Civitas Schinesghe.
