Amusing Glitch 2: DLC Shenanigans!!

Dunno if this is a known thing or not, but Brutal Rapers caused me an entertaining educational experience.

 

Did you know that the DLC opening movies are, from a gameplay standpoint, a conversation with an NPC in a movie theater? I learned this by getting raped by the narrator during the intro to Old World Blues.

I have the DLC, I'll see if I can detect and disable sexout during those intro sequences. I've never actually played any of the DLC yet, despite owning all of it.

At the beginning of the DLCs its the Caravan Leader in Honest Hearts, Dr. Mobius in OWB, Ulysses in Lonesome Road and Elder Elija in Dead Money. At the ends of each DLC theres at least a line or two from every named NPC you meet. Prides idea might work better.

Just for shits I set BR to 100% everything and visited all the DLC. Got raped by every narrator, every time. In one of them I had Sunny and Cheyenne with me and got raped by the dog too. And getting raped during a slideshow breaks it, gotta reload last save.

If you don't mind doing it a few more times you can actually get me the information I need..

 

1. ESM load order.

 

2. Go into console and get me the ID of the narrator.

 

ETA: might all be the same guy / guy loogie said, just doublecheck if you can.

Considering that "Ron the Narrator" is basically an avatar for Ron Perlman, that's kind of creepy. I'm willing to let my Sexout character be raped by a great many things, but I'm not sure Ron Perlman is one of them.

Been a stupid-crazy day, haven't had a chance to mess with this again yet. If anyone else wants to, just set all your Brutal Rapers settings to 100% and start a DLC. If the opening narration gets interrupted by rape, open the console and get a screenshot.

Let me try to wrap my head around this:

Fiends, escaped convicts, ghouls, an entire Legion Camp, Cazadores and Deathclaws are OK.

 

But she draws the line at Hellboy.

 

Nice to know she still has some limits.

Honestly, even with no creature make-up Ron is uglier than Fiends, escaped convicts, ghouls, an entire Legion Camp, Cazadores and Deathclaws. Still, he has a certain something.

 

On a more relevant note, getting raped by the narrator is amusing enough to where I'd leave it in like the Giants smack you to the moon thing in Skyrim.

The Honest Hearts ending narration is all from Bob from Accounting. Even though the voices of all the major DLC NPCs are used, the speaker actor is still the narrator Bob with the voice files recorded by the other actors.

 

The same is true for all the DLCs and the vanilla Fallout NV endings. One narrator is the speaker and the voice files were recorded by the other actors.

Dead Money = Narrator (NVDLC01Narrator)

Honest Hearts = Bob from Accounting (NVDLC02Narrator)

Old World Blues = Narrator (NVDLC03Narrator)
