Is it possible to betray the minute men after the main quest using Nuka World ?

I want to create an evil character, and have it go through a part of the main quest and eventually tackle Nuka World minus the part of attacking settlements, then go back to the main quest, finish the main quest (probably with the minute man), and then betray them by raiding. Can this be done ? I mean does this game support this mechanic and i can properly do it ?

There's another thing i'd like even more, but i presume i can do this even less, join the BOS and somehow betray them after the main quest....

It is not possible to betray the Minutemen faction regardless of the faction(s) you join, the actions/quests that you do for that faction(s), and the negative actions that would normally get you shunned from a faction in FoNV (i.e. kill a certain amount of soldiers and/or civilians of that faction). While there is a quest pertaining to the Institute where you could 'betray' the Minutemen. However, the actions/consequences only pertain to that quest with no real consequences affecting the main story line or your relations to either factions. Fo4 will only allow you to betray the Brotherhood of Steel, Institute, and/or Railroad depending on the faction you side.

If you have not played through the Nuka World DLC completely, all I will say is that if you follow through with your plan then a certain meme radiant quest giving companion will be angered. Also depending on your relationship and past actions towards them, you may even be shunned from having them as a companion.

Unfortunately, the only way to play an all out evil character that you have described is to hope that someone will create a mod that allows you to betray the Minutemen.

You can actually just say "nope" to Preston, and never have to bother with Minutemen affairs for the rest of the game.

For an Evil / Raider playthrough you probably want to side with The Institute ASAP and then start NW. That's what i am doing right now at least.

He got pissed at me when I took over a bunch of settlements as a raider. Chewed me out pretty good and I might not have been able to have him follow me, not sure on the last part though. Sadly raider settlements werent very fun to me.
