Raptr Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 First time poster, long time reader. First of all i want to thank the hard work of all the people here. So, i've been trying for a long time now to get the results of the people here in skyrim. I mean just look at this two pictures i just got from the screenshot thread. I've been a long time trying to achieve this kind of results and i just can't. I've even considered paying for mod dumps and everything. I really am that desperate. So, as i know i have to say what i am looking for in order to at least give you an opportunity of helping me here it goes: TL;DR - I want to turn Skyrim into the most realistic and good looking sex simulator. Mainly, passionate encounters, with petite and skinny girls, a bit of dirty thing here and there, but mostly everything realistic. I have 16Gb of ram, an I7 4790k and a 1080ti, i want to blow my new card To get a picture, i spent almost all yesterday trying to do the Anatriax guide for a Naughty and Immersive skyrim from 2015. But i have a big pile of errors and badly done things everywhere. I must have installed a lot of things unpropperly and they are not loading... I have to redo everything again. I mean like only half of the mods are loading or there are conflicts everywhere, the game works fine and i can fuck npc's with osex, but it doesn't look anywhere near of what i see here. So that's why i come here. If you guys can tell me, of course taking into account i would have done this basic guide If you just get me a basic updated list from where i can start working with, i would appreciate it a lot, you don't even know. I am about to give up on this. Just a list, i would find how to do it and everything elsewhere, i just need to know the basics on how i could achieve that results in a Skyrim that is basically a sex simulator. Thank you very much for your time.
modslave Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 Just FYI a lot of the higher end screens you'll see with sexual content are from people using a lot of non-Sexlab based screenshot mods. So if you're expecting the same visuals from Sexlab and 0SEX you really won't get them. Screenshot creativity is part and parcel of what doing screenshots is about. Most good screenshots are about 80% trickery and manipulation of angles and lighting and a good ENB. One thing you can do with just Sexlab itself is there is a hotkey to enable free camera mode, with free camera enabled you can change the viewpoint on a scene and get fairly original images depending on how you shoot them. Ark's basic guide for getting Skyrim and Sexlab playing nicely with each other is as up to date as you really need it to be, all that stuff, installed correctly, works just fine. So if you're having errors its something to do with your install process. But again if you're looking to recreate the quality of specific images you've found you have to have lot more tools and mods than just that.

You are very right about that, thought that was how people played. But idk, at least something that looks as good as this for example I know i messed some things in the installation of the Anatriax guide, i didn't understand a few things she explained and a lot of mods have changed their structure so the installation wasn't the same as she explained. I know i have to redo all the basics, and will use Ark's guide this time. I just need a basic list of what mods should i be using as base to egt the maximum realism and immersion possible.
modslave Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 Well the video you linked is just 0SEX in free camera mode, both 0SEX and Sexlab have that available as a feature. The image quality is based on the ENB its using if I was to make a guess I'd say thats probably Bleak ENB with the Jyggalag preset, it may also be Antique Dragon though with a really dark LUT enabled. Far as the character quality goes the female in the video is Camilla Valerius from the Bijin Wives mod which uses Maevan's Mature Skin as its base with UNP body type.

Ok, thank you very much for the help. I have a couple more questions either for you or whoever see this and want to give me a hand. 1) Are those graphical mods the ones you recommend me the most? 2) Do people here use 0SEX the most or they use another mod? Because the only sex mod i know is that one, i don't know if there could be maybe a better one taking in mind i want to turn this basically into an open world sex sim as i say in the OP. Again, thanks for taking the time to give me a hand, I reinstalled the game yesterday and will begin from zero yet again and hope this time i get something that looks like what I see around here. EDIT: Also now that i think of it, is this the propper place for this kind of post? Maybe I should post it elsewhere?

EDIT: Also now that i think of it, is this the propper place for this kind of post? Maybe I should post it elsewhere? First you gotta tell us your rig. What are your computer specs so we can know which enb is best for you. But one thing I always reccomend to anyone no matter the rig is getting SKGE (skyrim graphics extension) it basically enhances your ENB at zero fps cost. your shadows will be softer and transition better from dark to light and Ambient Occlusion shaddows will go in deeper (increased shadow depth). Your subsurface scattering of skin effect will become enhanced making the translucency of skin seem even more convincing. SKGE is a must download along with your ENB of choice. Personally, since i run a pretty monstrous rig with a gtx 1070, I reccomend just getting this: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/83532/? follow the instructions on this page and you'll get your game looking insanely realistic. Most of his screenshots are extreme lighting situation shots, so you have to try it in game to know what it really looks like but you'll thank me later. He posted his ENB preset ALONG with his SKGE preset together so you dont have to bother tweaking SKGE by yourself which is really complicated. Just download his skge preset and make sure you follow every step of his instructions in the description.

EDIT: Also now that i think of it, is this the propper place for this kind of post? Maybe I should post it elsewhere? Well when it comes to ENB I don't make recommendations, and depending on your hardware and monitor settings and exactly how many graphical overhaul mods you have for Skyrim itself (textures and high poly meshes and lighting) the game will look very different for two users with different setups using the exact same ENB. ENB is one of those things where there are some basic plug and play ENB's that almost anyone can get a fairly dependable visual return from, even those are going to have variances depending on dependencies on other mods. So ENB is a personal journey to be fair, at least for the visual aesthetic, in the last five years I've probably used almost as many ENB's as I have used mods...generally in the pursuit of trying to find an image quality I personally find visually appealing. The Great White North by modslave Thats an example image of about a billion years of tweaking to find the ENB that works for me. The basis of that is Rampage ENB, which is fairly graphically intensive but I've also done a good handful of minor internal surgical tweaks to its own settings and config...and keep in mind I have 751 mods installed as well a lot of them being graphic overhauls of one type or another, so even without an ENB my Skyrim looks pretty fantastic I just need the ENB to get that final push into acceptable modern graphical territory, but I am using an ENB which allows me retain the overall spirit of Skyrim's atmosphere and doesn't end up crushing it with bloom or a LUT palette or ENB palette which sways the game color schema too far into brown/gray. Judging from your questions some of that may come out as if I'm speaking martian to you and I'm sorry if it seems that way, my point is largely is ENB is going to be a personal endeavor that you will need to adopt some time into on your end to see what works best for you. I just recently saw an ENB on the Nexus that is relatively new called Screenshot ENB which looks pretty light as far as performance hits goes and only has a single mod dependency of ELFX...it might be a place to start, just keep in mind as you drift through ENBs to find the look that works for you that each one will have slightly different mod dependencies. So in closing while you can easily just install something like RealVision since its more or less the ENB most readily designed for mass consumption, its probably worth experimenting with ENB's you can find on the Nexus that have no mod dependencies or a low mod dependency and working your way up from there. RealVision requires Climates of Tamriel and Realistic Lighting Overhaul(RLO) or Enhanced Lights and Effects (ELFX) and it tends to produce a pretty generic image in the end though the visuals from it do appeal to some. As the other poster suggested if you have a lower end computer you can definitely install SKGE as an alternative and get pretty good imagery from that as well, so its an option if you don't have a super insane computer. Now as far as things I can recommend with a fair amount of accuracy, the dependency mods you may need for various ENB's are far easier to have a direct opinion on. Weathers A lot of ENB's depend on the weatherlist from another mod, largely because editing your ENB for every Skyrim weather condition is a very long term time investment. While there are a few ENBs that have their own weatherlists and do not require any other mods, most of the generally available ENB's are going to ask you to install one of the following. Climates of Tamriel - CoT is by far the most commonly used weather mod and most commonly used in ENB dependency, overall though I tend to find it to be a top heavy mod that can cause some issues with other mods, and because Skyrim modding is basically a pile of moving parts on top of each other the less stuff you have moving around the better, I don't generally recommend CoT anymore in 2017 though in 2012 or 2013 I probably would have. Natural Lighting and Atmospherics - NLA and its cousin NLVA are both extremely good weather mod/imagespace mod baselines that many ENBs that are current in 2017 use as a base, I've usually gotten my best imagery...aside from recently, from NLA or NLVA based ENB's its relatively lightweight though can have some performance chugging in certain conditions, but largely produces a fairly consistent image though depending on the ENB the image may be relatively color ramp crushed which can mess with a lot of different visuals at a very subtle level. Vivid Weathers - Vivid Weathers is an extremely solid addition to the weather mod list, there are some very good recent ENB's that depend on it like Tetrachromatic. Overall I've never really had too many issues with this mod as a base weatherlist mod but I've also found the image quality it returns to have a color ramp saturation that just looks slightly off to me more or less the same as NLA/NLVA.....it's a matter of taste though, I tend to view Skyrim as "cold" and cold color imagery is blue shifted to a degree, many ENB's tend to gray shift the color spectrum by default or even in some cases bronze it, to achieve a "noir" style effect and Vivid Weathers has a very subtle bronze shift that leaves a lot of your visuals with a subtle but noticeable brown crush across the entire color spectrum....it may not be something that matters to a lot of people but it bugged the crap out of me. So out of the three I'd say NLA/NLVA or Vivid Weathers is the way to go in the current mod balance for Skyrim. But also if you get an ENB that doesn't need them and still produces a solid visual quality then I recommend doing that first since keeping your mod count as streamlined as possible is always a good thing. Lighting A lot of ENBS have a secondary lighting requirement and there are, again, three options here, of relatively major note. Enhanced Lights and Effects - ELFX has been around for several years, and effectively it is the first (and best) lighting mod that gained major usage, it tends to produce some of the sharpest point and ambient lighting I've used in any playthrough I've done, its atmospherics are visually stunning and largely it tends to edge out the other two mods in total superiority for lighting visuals as far as I'm concerned, some ENBs have no lighting mod requirement but also require addition mods to darken dungeons and what not which is also fine its just another part you have to be concerned with, effectively any ENB that uses ELFX as a lighting dependency is going to produce some relatively good lighting based visuals. Realistic Lighting Overhaul - RLO is a solid mod with a fair amount of ENB's using it as a lighting dependency, but I personally have always found that its point lighting is a bit bland in comparison to ELFX, its generally got good environmental lighting but its atmospherics are again, like the point lighting, slightly underwhelming. I can't really recommend RLO in 2017, its a good complement to vanilla Skyrim but not so much in an ENB enhanced environment even if the ENB has been designed for it. Enhanced Lighting for ENB - ELE is a really lightweight alternative that tends to produce some fairly solid visuals but as it tends to be an all-rounder in regards to what it does and because of its extremely low performance footprint as you might understand the visuals you can get from it are only just a slight edge up on the base Skyrim lighting. Still though it is used as a base for some fairly good ENBs and can be functionally good in the right environments. So in the case of lighting I recommend ELFX hands down, though if you find a good ENB that requires none of these, I suggest trying that instead though your mileage may vary. Sex and Stuff OSex is an extremely impressive suite of tools for sexual interaction and CEO has done some brilliant work with the OSA engine to make an extremely modern interface system for Skyrim and various modules OSA has but I will say I don't use it and the reason for that is fairly simple, as a photo slut I have a limited amount of hotkeys available because there are only so many keys on a keyboard, adding 0SEX to my install base just complicates my keyboard real estate even more and even now I find myself having to disable certain mods in favor of other mods for posing and bone manipulation and sex based interactions and inventory hotkeys and image space modifiers....its just too much stuff for a single keyboard, so adding OSA just adds another mod fighting for key interaction for me, though I realize if I actually took the time with OSA I could probably reproduce most of what the mods I use do by using its modules but it came quite a bit after the mods I do use and I'm kind of settled in my routine at this point...so I tend to acknowledge OSA as systemically superior in almost every way but at this point its almost too much trouble for me to re-vamp my entire game process to make it the core system that manages all of my functionality. Sexlab is what most of us use here, with a bunch of various addon mods, Sexlab itself is a base framework, its made by Ashal and its a core feature mod of the Loverslab site.....Loverslab was around well before Skyrim and had a solid base of users for Oblivion based sex mods before Skyrim came out, but Skyrim being as big a game as it was, once Ashal released Sexlab for it, that pretty much changed the entire game for me. I use a ton of framework plugins to add the functionality I want from it and largely I get a fairly consistent experience that has tailored Skyrim more towards what I think it should be, which is a slightly darker, more adult oriented place. Sexlab is not going to produce any specifically stunning visuals by itself though, the difference between OSex and Sexlab being is OSex tends to pre-pose a scene and camera though you can easily modify the camera angles yourself and Sexlab just provides the animations and largely where you tend to pose it or how you handle your camera is up to you. Sexlab has more available animations with a slightly broader independant modder support than OSex, all of which are available here on Loverslab as well, but with that in mind its important to keep in mind that the animation quality varies from one animator to the next, some Sexlab animations are extremely good and are as near to professional quality as you will get in the limited environment that Skyrim has, and some animations are exactly what most mods are, amateur endeavors that produce an acceptable if not specifically stunning end result. So in the case of either I tend to recommend Sexlab largely just because you're eventually going to run out of hotkeys though OSA can likely fix that itself I just can't bring myself to try to piece my install back together and make it all work under OSA, Sexlab has the most robust plugin support as far as finding a kink that specifically rings your bells, Sexlab has the largest amount of options....but of the two the one most likely to see continued development in 2017 is OSex because Sexlab is largely considered a settled project....I don't think Ashal has much further intention to expand or improve on Sexlab from here, it's largely completely functional as is and while there are many things it could improve on, I think the basic view is that to do those improvements would be to just start reproducing what OSA already does and there is no reason to do that. Course I can't speak for Ashal he may be working like a slave over a Sexlab total overhaul that no one other than a small handful of people are aware of, but as its been over a year since Sexlab was last updated and only about 30 days since OSex was last updated, so the development timeline appears somewhat obvious. So I won't recommend one over the other I will just say that I use Sexlab because it has the other bells and whistles I need to make Skyrim fun and playable and immersive for me. There is a lot of other stuff I can get into here but I wanted to start with the basics....I spent a lot of time trying to work out my image quality and install, its been a evolving scenario since 2011 really and to be fair no one ever really helped me on this stuff either, with a recent exception from a super hot dewd who I won't name drop cause he's Skyrim famous and totally my guilty crush. So I figured if I can at least try to help someone else clear up their confusion so they can get what they want, you won't end up having to spend five years figuring it all out by yourself. I think this forum is fine for your post, though technically it should probably be in the Non-Adult req/find forum since its not all about dicks and boobs.

Wow, you have no idea how much i appreciate what you just did. Thank you so much for spending so much time and effort helping a random man like me. The world needs more people like you. Happy summer!
Raptr Posted July 7, 2017 Author Posted July 7, 2017 Well the video you linked is just 0SEX in free camera mode, both 0SEX and Sexlab have that available as a feature. Didn't see your comment between the modslave ones, i just saw it now for the first time, my bad. I stated my rig in my OP, I7 4790K, 16Gb RAM and 1080Ti. I will try your ENB too, thanks!
