ScottishWind Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 When I joined the modding community it took me a while to figure out what is what. How SKSE and SkyUI is essential while the two big mods are CBBE and UNP. Needlessw to say I fucked up my load order many, many times. Now I'm about to jump in another pool and I'd like someone to tell me how deep it is. What are the main big mods? What does every mod need? What should I watch out for? and stuff like that.

Nazzzgul666 Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 In general there is no easy answer to that because there are several options for each of your questions. Which to chose depends on taste, which other mods you chose, if you want a story or random fucks, prostitute yourself or fuck for free, if you're into BDSM or not. I'll give you an example for the monster part: Most popular for combat sex (aka rape) is Defeat, if you are into BDSM you may use Cursed Loot instead which has it's own combat sex feature, but you can also combine both and use only the BDSM features of Cursed Loot and disable the combat sex part. You can use submit instead of defeat, or submit and DD progression for additional BDSM, you can add Deviously Captured to add BDSM to defeat, or several others. If you want a story beeing raped by monsters (and humans) you can use Slaverun reloaded. If you want to use sex to kill enemies you can add Enchantress. You can use Defeat + cursed Loot + Slaverun + Enchantress at once. Read the descriptions carefully for each mod you install, the requirements will always be mentioned and also known incompatibilities (except maybe the "obvious*"), how to use the features and other important stuff. Really, read it. Several mention hard and soft requirements. Hard means that you really need that other mod, soft means that you can play fine without the other mod, but you might miss content or features. For example in Slaverun reloaded you will miss the bestiality parts if you don't have More Nasty Critters and some story parts will be skipped, if you don't install Milk Mod Economy (MME) you'll only miss the features that are offered by MME. *Obvious means: mods with the same features are often not compatible with each other, at least those features like beeing beaten & raped (and robbed, bound and enslaved) instead of beeing killed should be turned off in all mods but one, then it's fine to have several of them installed which makes sense if they have other features as well. Some advice in general: -Don't plan a long game if you don't know the mods you want to try. If you want to install mods on an important save, make a backup. It's annoying to impossible to uninstall mods properly from an existing save. -Mod Organizer lets you create different profiles (and has some other advantages, but it's a bit harder to start with then NMM), so you can install a bunch of mods, start a new game or load one, play some time and see if everything works (together) like expected. If it does but you want to add/try some other mods, you can just start a new game with a new profile and try there instead risking to screw your old save. It's still no guarantee, but increases the chances that you won't screw your main save. For me it's totally worth the time i've spent to learn how to use it instead of re-installing Skyrim every time something goes wrong, but it depends on taste. -Don't add too many mods at once. The design how Skyrim works and can be modded is... not optimal. Some things could be fixed by stuff like ENBoost, SKSE and crash fixes, others couldn't. Beside that, even though i'm always reading the descriptions i'm never able to remember all of it if i add too much at once and just stop the game to read them again to learn how things work. Finally ('m no expert here) popular mods for consensual sex: Eager NPCs Amorous Adventures TDF (prostitution) Animal Mansion Plus (not redux) for animals. But those are just some suggestions, there are a lot of great alternatives and additions. Check the download sections and try them.
