ToJKa Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 So i tried the various sexout plugins yesterday, but apparently Brutal Rapers and Tryout cause periodic pauses in gameplay after playing a while (propably all the scripts running in the background), so i removed them. But now my character is stuck with "Vault Tech FertX Pill" effect. I figured this could be removed with "player.removespell" command and found the effect in the SexoutCommonResources.esm (xx007d9a), but the command says that it isn't a valid FormId. Am i using the wrong command, or the wrong FormID? (and yes, i got the master file's index correctly ).

Try adding 1 to the master file index as the game might have chosen to load another esm silently. (Best way is to start FNVedit with you current load order and see if anything gets added).
ToJKa Posted July 24, 2012 Author Posted July 24, 2012 Nope, the index is 13, but running trough from 10 to 1f, everytime it says "item "xx007d9a" not found for parameter spell item".
jaam Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 I would say that the actor effect is xx00221c and it should be remove by the Fixer.
ToJKa Posted July 24, 2012 Author Posted July 24, 2012 Using that id says "Actor Effect "FertX Withdarawl" not found on player", what i have is the effect it gives when using it (INT -1, CHR +1). And as such, Fixer doesn't fix it either.
ToJKa Posted July 24, 2012 Author Posted July 24, 2012 I figured making a clean save would get rid of it, and removed all Sexout plugins and masters (i have everything but the FOMODs installed with BAIN) redid the patch, and now the game crashes before main menu. Oh how i wish some day Gamebryo would start to make sense. Oh well, time to start from scratch. Again But atleast BAIN and FOMM make it relatively quick and easy.
zippy57 Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 The way the engine handles effects (like so many other things) is unusual. If an effect is added to the player, and you then deactivate the plugin that includes that effect, that effect is stuck on your character, even if you reactivate the plugin.
ToJKa Posted July 24, 2012 Author Posted July 24, 2012 Thanks for the warning, have to look out for that in the future. Had wipe out all New Vegas folders to get it to start again, how can removing a mod cause that just makes no sense
