darkdill Posted June 25, 2017 Posted June 25, 2017 Maskar's Oblivion Overhaul is creating some NPCs which are using my character's unique animations, which MAO is supposed to be preventing. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any sort of compatibility patch for them, and you can't include Maskar's in a Bashed Patch. So how would I modify Maskar's to work with MAO? Or would such a thing be advisable?
puddles Posted June 25, 2017 Posted June 25, 2017 Try moving the load order so the two's order is inverted from whatever order they're in now. I don't use either of those mods, so I can't say much.
gregathit Posted June 25, 2017 Posted June 25, 2017 You can try adjusting your load order, but I don't think that will get it done. More likely you'd need to find and resolve all the conflicts in the two mods. Not something that would be easy to do.
darkdill Posted June 26, 2017 Author Posted June 26, 2017 I've tried the load order trick, doesn't work. It would need a compatibility patch. Note that Maskar's doesn't stop MAO from working; it's just that NPCs added by Maskar's aren't affected.
Fienyx Posted June 26, 2017 Posted June 26, 2017 You would need to make a patch that would go after MOO in load order, preventing the npcs from using those anims. Not particularly sure how to do that myself, but that's the way to go about it.
