Wicked Whims corrupting game bug?

Before I start, I want to say that my sims weren't able to drink any sort of beverage that gave them moodlets (alcohol, coffee, etc.) so I removed WW from the mod file to see if it affected anything. My sims still weren't able to drink anything even with the mod removed so I had to do a complete fresh install of the entire game. I played my fresh game without issue, then I installed WW and the problem came back. I'm also updated to the latest version (1.30.105).

There was an update yesterday for the Sims 4 and now having the WW installed wont allow the game to start. I have to uninstall it for the game to work. Will there be an update or is it just me having this problem?

WW was the only mod I used in my new install, although I previously used MC commander.

Had a Sim have a drink and everything works just fine and there is nothing in WW that would in any way affect that.

I wasn't sure what happened. Just when I updated the mod the problem started occurring so I have no idea either.
