brutality Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 How many times do we have to go through this? After sitting through the cringefest of an E3 presentation we're presented yet again with paid modding. Will it hold up this time? They seem to be putting their full attention into it now.

leddis3 Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 I suspect that the CC, with their talk that it's "available through an in-game store" will have a lot of DRM attached to it as well. So you can kiss goodbye to tinkering with files as you please for your personal setup too.
Captain Cobra Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 Minecraft is going the same route. It's been heading this way for a while now. Nearly every mod for MC is behind an adfly link or two for quite a long time.
gregathit Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 A better question is how many threads do we need on this. I think one is plenty: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/79613-paid-mods-return-as-creation-club-exclusive-content/
