lt5ive Posted January 5, 2025 Posted January 5, 2025 Can someone explain how body mesh works in sims 4? If I use EVE body in WW and also try it in CAS for one of the sleep outfits, breast sizes don't match compared to how they look when in a normal outfit. Here you can see that breasts are considerably larger when naked. Same thing with butt, just not that noticeable: Spoiler Even if breast size is smaller, the difference is still there: Spoiler Another thing is that, with a large size, the shape does not look even close to the smooth mesh shown in the description. There are bumps and corners all around the breasts and butt: Spoiler Spoiler Am I doing something wrong? Or is this normal behavior?
CANSIZDERMANSIZ Posted January 6, 2025 Posted January 6, 2025 Looks good for a starter, Can't wait to see what you do with it.

There are bumps and corners all around the breasts and butt: The wavy bumpy body is way more pronounced than I've ever seen. Maybe you have too many conflicting sliders? corrupted presets? Unsure, but that's not normal, no. As for body meshes, a body mesh is JUST a body mesh. NOT a "clothes mesh". So if you have a normal EA body, and wear Eve clothing the boobs will look bigger in those clothes, than when naked. You are currently experiencing it the other way around, big boobs on the Eve body, but they're reduced when you wear EA-proportioned clothes. To solve this you should have characters who use the Eve body mesh, ALSO exclusively use Eve clothing like you can find in this file topic, and from other creators such as Cuupid and Myobi/SMS. Or just imagine they're wearing constricting/deceptive clothing that hides their bodacious curves until 'released'. 👍 Edited January 25, 2025 by Dwjliel 2

Following on from what Dwjliel said, are you using custom body presets? If so, take them off in CAS and see if that fixes the wavy issue. Because the EVE bodymesh is a custom mesh, it adds extra geometry that custom presets don't account for, and the results can be a bit random. For the boobs, are you using custom sliders? Try my nipple slider (1st page download) and see if the result is smoother. devilishone19 Posted January 25, 2025 Posted January 25, 2025 Has anyone tested these for the newest Jan patch? I know a lot of skins and overlays got broken with the new update.

WW just gives them functionality, but many creators still make the bottoms accessible in CAS in bottom clothing options. Of course, without WW you might need to mod like MC Dresser to get the right bottom to show when showering, etc. 1
FleurLaFleur Posted February 5, 2025 Posted February 5, 2025 Hi There, I downloaded EVE v9.2 and it doesn't show as default naked and it changes my face and body PIC#1 is my original face. I am using the non-WW version and I had to apply the full body version under "skin details" under freckles, then my face looks like PIC#2 Even with makeup it looks a little strange, yes I use TS4 Makeup, PIC#3 Am I doing something wrong or is that how it's supposed to look? I know it's just been added and needs tweaking. I get that more than you know. Should I use the EVE v9.1? I'm sorry if this offends you but I am very honest...to a fault. It is exactly what I was looking for through Cheers Fleur PIC#1 PIC#2 PIC#3
FleurLaFleur Posted February 5, 2025 Posted February 5, 2025 Hi again...Fleur again....GREAT news is that 9.1 works perfectly!!! Thank you again for all your work

Hello, from the downloads on the first page, the Overlay+SPECIFICoverlay zip should download with two files in it - use the 'SMSims-evev9.2skinoverlaySPECIFIC.package' file in the freckle area to add textures specifically to only the nipples/vagina without any textures to the face. The thumbnail should show like this: I plan to reorganize the files soon to make it easier for people to understand which ones they need/want, but I just haven't had any time at the moment >.> 1
