Darkening Demise Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 The Sims is Mobile is confirmed to be a Free-to-Play game, which means you can play the game for free, but be ready for micro-transactions if you want to advance quickly or unlock new features. Free-to-Play games also force players to have to play in real time, which means you have to wait minutes, and sometimes hours, to complete certain actions. https://simsvip.com/2017/05/09/maxis-announces-sims-mobile/
TURBODRIVER Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 Designed for the audience of the given platform, not surprising. I never play games on my phone, but I remember liking playing browser-based games (eRepublik, OGame, etc.) which required me to check them only once or twice a day. I don't see how The Sims is a good idea for that sort of game, just looks like they are using the brand to appeal a greater audience. I like the visuals of the game, but that's pretty much it. I hope there will be people who will enjoy this game because this is probably the last time I will even think about the existence of it. At least this won't kill the franchise and maybe help to expand the audience and support future releases. You can see a little bit more of the game here too: https://twitter.com/TheSimsStyle
R-Lo Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 No woo-hoo mods then? Looks pretty but I can see it losing appeal very quickly after realising how quickly it wants to drain your battery and finances
Darkening Demise Posted May 11, 2017 Author Posted May 11, 2017 FYI all the assets are taken from Sims 4 and its DLC.
