spicy meme l0rd Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 like what i said in the title. for some reason, whenever female NPC's have a weight under 100 with a body mod replacer I am using, they have horrible neck seams. setting it to 100 using the console command "setnpcweight 100" works and fixes it, but it is only temporary. for some reason though, this isnt the case with my female character, which is using the same body replacer. there is absolutely 100% no neck seam. so, with that said I am wondering, how can I set all the NPC weight to 100 permanently? i have tried a mod called NPC ReWeHeighter which seemed promising, but i couldnt get it to work, maybe i did it wrong? anyway any and all help would be appreciated, thankyou
zax Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 NPCs use pre-generated heads that are built for specific weight. Their weight is not supposed to be changed at runtime.
legacyslayer Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 Like zax said, if you alter any npc, do it in the ck and make sure to export their head mesh (Using CTRL-F4 in an ESM) otherwise, they will have horrible neck seams
Andy14 Posted May 11, 2017 Posted May 11, 2017 The neck of body / armor_0 is the cause. When you create the body/armors with bodyslide, check the slider SmallSeams of weight 0. Note to presets or custom slider. Only slider SmallSeams should affect the neckseam.
