mule45 Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 So I'm only really interested in the men of the game, so what are the best male-centric/gay-centric mods out there? I'm starting a new Skyrim play from scratch, currently with no mods whatsoever, so I'm looking for: Mods that focus on sex between male characters/involving male characters and non-female characters or they do all genders and have just as much for gay men as they would straight men Mods that do solo-male actions Sexy outfits/clothing for male characters The best body replacements for male characters Anything that would enhance male action with a minimum focus on female would be great. Of course, I'm happy to use mods that include female content and just not use those parts. Whether is vanilla, bondage or various kinks I don't mind, I'm a pretty open book Thanks for any suggestions and I hope I did this right; this is my first time posting here so major apologies if I've done something wrong
Nazzzgul666 Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Not into gay sex myself, but i've enjoyed Isle of Mara anyways, it's a great questmod without any females involved, except if you play one like me. All of ffabris stuff is at least male compatible, often gay. And there is a thread about that with a bigger collection.
Yuni Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Honestly lots of mods can be made gay if you adjust the MCM settings. There's masculinized leveled lists or whatever it's called on the Nexus, but as for here...Sexlab Defeat, Pet Collar, Scent of Sex, Deviously Enslaved Continued, and more mods can all be configured to only have approaches from males and not females. Properly set, the gender of the player does not matter. Even Sexlab Solutions can do that, just play as a male. Funnybizness' animation pack for Sexlab Animation Loader (SLAL) adds a bunch of male masturbation animations, that can be triggered by Sexlab Release if your arousal gets too high. I think Player Exhibitionist works with a male player? I'm not sure, but that would make you strip, and if you're flagged as exhibitionist, this would lead to masturbating in public eventually, so on and so forth. Look for any mod in the Sexlab section that allows an MCM for you to configure options. Even Soul Gem Oven and Egg Factory allow male-pregnancy with soul gems or eggs, if that's your thing. Just open Soul Gem Oven's (SGO) options menu with the in-game power on your character, and use the 'enable gems' command in the sub menu. Schlongs of Skyrim default male body allows stomach inflation, and Pearl Juice Continued allows cum inflation using this body, I think... if you use Sexlab Inflation Framework? Or maybe it's without the framework. You get the idea, half of the mods on here are far from female only, there's just lots of people who play as females on here. Aroused Creatures can be gay only, if creature-on-male is your thing, and Horny Creatures of Skyrim and Funnybizness both make male-on-creature animations, if that's your bag of chips. I don't mean to make any fetish assumptions, I don't have much to work on so I'm just blanketly mentioning everything.

Also, might not be the right person or place to ask, but I'm using Mod Organizer to install all of my mods. I also installed FNIS through MO but when I use the FNIS.exe to add new anims, it goes a bit weird and I don't know if I've done it right. Should FNIS have been installed through MO or should I have done it separately?

You can install FNIS using MO, but remember to set the location of FNIS in your options menu of MO to the copy of FNIS that is in the 'mods' folder of Mod Organizer's own folder tree.

Thank you for the information and for your other post! However, how do I set the location in MO? I went into Settings > Plugins > FNIS Checker and set 'enabled' to True; is that all I need to do?
Yuni Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Thank you for the information and for your other post! However, how do I set the location in MO? I went into Settings > Plugins > FNIS Checker and set 'enabled' to True; is that all I need to do? On the right half of Mod Organizer (MO) there is a dropdown that chooses which program you are going to run. Next to that is an orange play button with the word "Run" on it. In that dropdown is what you are looking for, open it. At the top is the word 'edit' once inside, that opens another sub-menu. This menu is called "Modify Executables". Inside, select FNIS if it's there. If it's not there, click the "..." next to Binary and find the FNIS folder inside Mod Organizer/mods/(FNIS folder is here), and set that Binary (executable file) to the exe of FNIS for users in that folder. Click 'add' to confirm your changes, and you're done. Run FNIS from that dropdown box and orange run button, not from your data folder.

However, I'm still getting the same message from FNIS that I got when I ran it from the folder itself: >>Warning: Bad installation. Generator not run from a Skyrim installation directory.<< FNIS Behavior V6.3 09/05/2017 18:02:35 Skyrim: ??.?? - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\ (Steam) Generator: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\data\FNIS Behavior 6.3\Data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\GenerateFNISforUsers.exe Skeleton(hkx) female: Default (99 bones) male: Default (99 bones) Patch: "SKELETON Arm Fix" Reading FNISBase V6.3 ... Im wondering if I've installed something else wrong or if the fact I've already tried using it a few times and did the SexLab Framework installation actions already. Would the best course of action be deleting all of FNIS and then doing a fresh install? Because I should have the Creature pack installed, it's named 'Fores New Idles in Skyrim CREATURES' in both MO and the folder and inside the folder is 'FNIS Creature Pack 6.1' and the according items. Similarly 'FNIS Behavior 6.3' is inside 'Fores New Idles in Skyrim - FNIS' with both of the folders inside the MO Mods folder. Apologies for lumping all these issues on you; no worries if you can't help out but thank you very much for your help!
Yuni Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 .... Bad installation, not run from skyrim installation directory... Uhm, have you run Skyrim through Steam yet? FNIS and Loverslab mods only work on the Steam edition of Skyrim. If you installed from a disc, or if you have not yet done the 'first time set up' through Steam, it will produce that message. I also have to wonder if FNIS knows where Skyrim is. have you run Skyrim from this copy of Mod Organizer before? I'm not quite sure what to do here, it looks like MO doesn't know where Skyrim is.

First thing I did before installing any mods was to load the game up. I didn't start a save but I got to the main menu. After that, I've run the game through MO using SKSE and created a characters, just a throwaway one to see if things are working. However, I just tried to start the game via MO, both with SKSE and without, and it CTD'd, so I'm downloading LOOT to see what issues there are. Once I can actually get into the game I'll try initiating some sex scenes and see if the animations are there but just not coming up on FNIS.
mule45 Posted May 9, 2017 Author Posted May 9, 2017 Okay so in the end I've decided to bite the bullet and start from scratch again. I think using MO was the big issue; I've never used it before since I used to just install my mods manually and use a mod sorter, like LOOT or BOSS, to make sure nothing was conflicting. I've deleted everything and I'm reinstalling Skyrim now; hopefully things will go better this time.

There are several tutorials on youtube, though. Those should help.

There are several tutorials on youtube, though. Those should help. But for some reason everything went weird with MO. For example, when I downloaded the Apachii hair mod with MO and installed it, part of it was apparently missing (either the esp. or the esm.) and the mod ended up greyed out in the mod list. And its not like I just dived in head first; I did the in-program tutorial and I've modded for years using both manual and mod managing systems, just not for Skyrim. Plus, FNIS completely messed up with MO; is there an easy-to-follow (like, really easy) tutorial that specifically shows how to install FNIS, SexLab Frameworks and other mods from here with MO? If I can get it to work then I'd be happy using it cause thats loads of time and trouble saved. However, I've already wasted half a day trying to use it once and I don't really wanna waste any more time if its just gonna mess up again
QuietPippin Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 M2M sex animation mod is a good gay mod i guess I'm not gay 100% for womenz but I downloaded the animation to test for a futa character and was surprised how clearly they were made for 2 men (in the name lol) they were really really gay check it out
FauxFurry Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 You could have gone to the Male Content Call Out Thread to get a eyefull (or maybe two) of the male oriented mods on offer as well as communicate with some of the folks who make them. Of course, there is a chance that they might be biased to their own mods but that is a risk worth taking.

I have been through that thread but unfortunately it seems to be mostly screenshots of peoples characters with the occasional mod buried within. Thank you for the suggestion though
