How to create a tame monster?

I created some creature animations and now want to test them. However no matter how I create my testees in Creation kit, they either attack me or are so "braindead" they won't even step on the idle markers I prepared for them. On top of this, a "helpful" guard approached and killed the non-reacting beasts.

Any Idea (or link to a tutorial) on how to create tame beasts that just peacfully hang around, without killing or being killed?

More Nasty Critters has Hentai Creatures integrated into it, which provides spells to summon friendly creatures.

EDIT: You don't have to use HC's functionalities if you're trying to avoid +18 stuff.

Hentai Creatures sounds like a good idea, but it doesn't offer the critter I made an animation for (The Mounted Riekling and his Boar are actually just one creature and it's not included in the Hentai-pack). However, maybe I can find the answer in said mod. Thanks.

Oh, and, I have no problems with 18+ stuff, I just posted here, because the question itself was independent to 18+ stuff.

EDIT: OH, wait, it does offer the riekling rider, just calling it "boar". Thanks.

Is the creature in the same faction as your character, or in a faction friendly to your character?  e.g. playerfaction. You can assign the faction under Factions tabs within the actor entry in CK. E.g. Actors>Actor>Actor>EncTroll, double-click EncTroll, select faction tab.

A safe way could be to duplicate the creature you want to use, edit duplicated creature faction tab to include the friendly faction, and drop it in your cell.

If the creature is not using the idle marker, you can check to ensure the creature is using an AI package that allow use of idle marker. This is found in  AI Packages  in the actor entry in CK. E.g. Actors>Actor>Actor>EncTroll, double-click EncTroll, select AI Packages tab. If multiple packages are found, the system should go through top-down of the AI package list to select the relevant AI package whose criteria is met.

Ok, I'll check this. Thank you.

For creatures being friendly you probably have to set their hostility to friendly so that they don't attack and will not get attacked you might also have to change their faction so that they are in one of the creature factions that are considered friendly. They might also need to be in your player faction. For stopping someone that is coming to kill one of your creations just hit the ~ key click them and type in kill which will kill them dead or disable which will temp remove them. You can also make your creature unkillable by hitting the ~ key and clicking on the creature and typing in setessential 1 which will make them unkillable setessential 0 will make them killable,

When I played oblivion my children at times tended to get killed all the time from guards or other people simply because their parents usually were from factions like bandit which makes the guards kill them on sight because they are in the bandit faction or a enemy faction. That is till I got tired of it and downloaded a mod to let me kill the guards on sight without any repercussions.
