Can't access Nexus forums - Problem solved Thanks everyone

I would ask this question on the Nexus forums, but as the topic mentions... I can not access the Nexus forums

 

 

Just wondering if anyone here has ever heard or run into this. I got the lifetime membership to nexus a few years ago so I am a premium member but anytime I try to goto their forums I get the access denied message. 

 

Can't even access their FAQ on forum problems because it is on their forums

 

 

Normally it would not be an issue but after reading a thread on these forums a little while ago about how thankless a job modding can be, I started to feel bad that I haven't been doing my best at endorsing the mods that I use and like which is quiet literally the least I can do to be supportive. 

 

 

But I have run into a problem where Nexus tells me I can't endorse some mods because I never downloaded them, and I actually DID download them so I wanted to go to their forums to find out wtf, but as the original topic has suggested... I can't access the nexus forums.

Have you changed you ISP or perhaps changed you IP address?
Perhaps you have been given one banned IP from your ISP.
 

Try to change it.

Did check nexus and it is up and running including the Forum.

to the best of my knowledge this is not a new development. I do not think I ever had access to their forums. 

 

I can't imagine why I would be banned from their forums via an IP ban. But I do use a VPN

I think you have to register for the forums in addition to your site registration. I had access denied a while back and I had to create a forum/posting ID. Just because you're signed into the site doesn't mean you're signed into the forum area, or so it seems to me.

The attached image is what I see anytime i click anything that leads to anyplace on the Nexus forums. 

 

There is literally nothing I can click on that page that doesn't just lead back to the same message except the mods button and the skinbox thingy

 

I have tried looking in my profile to see if there is something about setting up forum access but I found nothing. 

I don't suppose someone WITH nexus forum access could goto their contact us page in the forums and see if maybe there is an E-mail addy for getting help?

I did try that, and I got the same screen except it also had a link to create and account or log into an existing account. 

 

when I tried logging into my existing account I got back to the original access denied screen as posted above.

Send them one nice and diplomatic mail and ask them what have happen.

I don't know what e-mail addy to send it to... This is part of the vicious circle, you see their "contact us" info is posted on their forums.

Ok, so this is weird 

 

I clicked on the link you posted Support Request and it worked......

 

now all the sudden I can get into the Nexus forums.....

 

just by clicking that link everything is fixed.... who are you??
