Xaqq Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 I have both the UUNP hdt conversion for these heels and the original file downloaded for this mod. Whenever i equip this on my follower it causes this odd texture bug and i'm not quite sure what may be causing the issue.
winny257 Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 I guess uncompatible body texture. This body texture is probably not compatible with these feet (high heels).Check the mod description which texture the author uses.
Swiftstep Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 Addition to what Winny said: "on my follower" - no use to install UNP textures on your char, if the follower uses her own skin set.

If the follower is not just a face preset, but has an own set of textures (many do - hence it is easier to create a certain look, and save all the necessary files into one pick page via TES), you would have to replace those, too. If you can, cause many followers have texture packs hard-wired the mod itself, for above mentioned reasons.  What you can do, if you didn't already: check the follower mod for texture files. If you can't find them, you can't alter them.  That is, of course, if I understood you correctly that it all only appears on the follower. Not the player character, or any random vanilla char.

I haven't tested anything out on Player character cuz I play as a male. Literally Neisa (standalone follower that I use) is the only one that uses all the nsfw mods of skyrim So my modding experience is 3x as hard when it comes to these things.  I've altered all of Neisa's body/hand/head textures msn, sk, s, etc. but I always seem to run into odd issues in teh past with Neisa specifically when it comes to mods such as wetfunction redux not applyign wet textures on the head etc.  it all makes me believe that there is something that i'm jsut not quite getting. Also when I do replace her textures completely her face always seems to only partially apply some of the new textures ive replaced in her texture folder meaning there is a neck seam and her face lacks the wrinkly detail the rest of teh body textures have, coming out completely smooth in contrast to the body. I suspect this is because of some odd reason it only applies the regular femahead.dds file and ignores all the other files such as teh MSN head file and SK/S file, which can also explain why wetfunction redux works perfectly fine on every part of her body but her head.Â
RW311 Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 Custom texture sets on npc will always cause you these kind of issues when you want to use other mod assets with them. What I do is make duplicates of the mesh of any custom armor that has custom texture sets and place them in the files with the standalone npc then modify the nif files, when needed, to use the followers textures sets, then either edit the mods esp to use the modified path or duplicate the data into the followers esp to make a follower only version, depending on if I want to use the mod for vanilla as well. If the armor is only going to ever be on that follower then just edit the texture path to your follower, sometimes it's a change in the nif texture path other times you may have to change the texture set path in the esp.

RW311 Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 Possibly but I have no idea how that mod works as I've never used it.
