Click the big green button to the right under where it says the size of the file. In the box that pops up click either of the links next to the yellow bird. Just make sure it's a rar or 7z file when you save it.

Is there a tutorial in english how to mod Bayonetta?

I know that there is already a .cpk tool - which I have - but I don't know how to extract/repack .dat files. I've tried with Noesis but I always got this error message: "File could not be previewed"

Finally figured out how to modify the textures in this game, took a long time with trial and error approach until the game finally stopped crashing with the modified dds files.

 

How to install:

Extract to: Gamefolder(Bayonetta)/data/pl

If you don't have the pl folder, then create it manually.

 

Screens:

 

It's the first costume in the game that i've edited for now, i still haven't figured out how to unlock or change the  other costumes yet.... but i haven't played the game that much because was too busy trying to figure out the textures. I've already started doing some of the other costumes, just need to see it in-game to actually know how to they look before i post them.

 

I can probably take some requests if i figure out how to unlock all the costumes (without using another save-game)

You unlock the ability to change costumes after beating the game once- then each costume costs 100k Halos.

yes. the way i did it, as suggested by JoeMesh, i unpack the mod's data12 file, and just drag the pl folder it contains into /data. drag each mod's pl folder into /data and each costume will be added.

 

you can't have two versions of the same costume though. so for instance the lastest mod (version 3) works on the Queen outfit. it has two versions, one with skirt and one without. since both versions use the Queen outfit, you can only use one at a time. if you add another mod that uses the Queen outfit, it will overwrite your existing mod.

 

maybe sometime someone can figure out how to add whole new outfits, to get around this limitation!

is it possible to edit the texture of when shes maxed out on using magic and is basically almost naked to being totally naked? Would make sense lore wise.
