Game completely freezes semi-randomly (Papyrus + Load order included)

Hi! After countless hours of trying to fix my Skyrim on my own with the help of random posts I can find online I've finally decided to just make a post here.

 

Basically my game completely freezes and then stops working semi-randomly. Sometimes it happens for what seems like no reason at all when I'm just playing the game, however it seems to have a tendency to (sometimes) freeze whenever a dragon breathes fire or (sometimes) when I load some form of menu (inventory, press esc), or in combat when a lot of action is happening.

 

Looking in the papyrus log I thought it could have something to do with the Arissa follower mod despite me not even having encountered her this playthrough. But when I disabled the mod in Mod Organizer the game just CTD'd on main menu.

 

I've tried cleaning my save w/ Save Cleaner.

Maybe I'm overloading my PC? I am running a lot of mods + Realvision ENB although the performance version.

a few notes

 

1 - your skeleton (XMPSE) position seems kind of high load order to me (personal opinion) so make sure absolutely nothing is overwriting it.

 

2 - do you have Safety Load installed (can get it from nexus) which can help with freezes and other issues.

 

3 - do you have Crash Fixes installed (both here on LL and on Nexus) which can help with several different issues, including but not limited to CTD, and string limit issues.

 

both Safety Load and Crash Fixes do not have and ESM/ESP file but will work together to help problems (I personally have Safety Load then Crash Fixes right behind it in my load order).

 

4 - from the description provided it sounds like its probably one of 2 things happening, either a video memory problem (vram trying to do to much to fast) or a mod conflict (possibly a hidden one, ie one that does NOT show as a conflict)  just my personal opinion on what it sounds like is happening.

 

5 - from looking at the log provided (I am not the best at reading them) it seems that the 2 mods throwing the most errors are 38 (WetNCold) and 73 (LycHairstyler) so I would check that those are working properly.
