Turbo Career help if anyone uses it please.

Hi

 

I recently installed the Turbo career mod by Zerbu as i have the Get To Work expansion.

 

It seems to work fine so far. 

 

Now instead of just going out of my door and then time speeding up and then reappearing at my front door after work, i now actually can go there and interact with customers and select tasks to achieve in my work shift.

 

I am an entertainer in the game so i get sent to bars and i have to socialise and also play instruments.

 

 

My issue is this. So far my shifts are 2pm to 8 pm. every day i go to the bar its empty. i never see anyone there and so just walk around interacting with objects. I even start talking to the toilet!

 

I did create a workplace on a lot in the town i live in as well. I built the bar with all the requirements to make it work and even made sure to tag/name that lot as Workplace 3 as Zebru explains. Its always busy! BUT i cant get the mod/game to send me there. I always end up going to a random bar in the various locations.

 

How do i make sure i get sent to that specific lot i created?

Well I never heard of the Turbo carrer mod you refer to, but...well If you are sent to a random bar, that bar is not taged as a "workplace", its taged as ...a "bar?

So why don't you try to tag the bar you created, with the same tags as the other bar and see if your sim is sent there then.

I will try that. So far the mod has sent me to 2 different bars over 2 shifts. I guess its just randomly locating bars to let me work at and i can interact in. Everything else works just great. I get my shift tasks to complete and the time ticks by and when the shift is over i get messages for being paid and then sent home.

 

I just cant get the mod to send me to my custom bar i created. Zebru states that it has to be designated as Workplace 3 in the Lot type drop down bar. I did that but so far it hasnt even detected that lot and bar

 

And so far both bars it HAS sent me to have been void of people. I spent both shifts walking around an empty bar.

 

I have tried messaging Zebru in his site but i fear he hasnt checked that site in ages.

I think that bars during the day are almost alway empty unless you are invited to hang out there by another sims or if you get there as a date. And I am not sure about the date thing.

Once I took a couple of My household sims out to "simulate" clubing, but everywhere they went the bars were empty. 

I have however changed the time duration using MC and this has messed up a bit the time events happen in my game. An NPC for example might call to hang out at a bar at noon or at 4 a.m. in the morning.

Try leaving the job and re apply for it. Might fix it.

i think i will remove the mod. Its not working right and i think its messing my game up.

 

I will just buy a retail store and wait for the day a brothel/escort/prostitute job mod is ever made..hehe.
