alpalia Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 i have an critical bug , if i use playermodel (mordin solus) and i try to transform into vampire lord ( yeah dawnguard ^^) my character not transform and OMG ! i cant open the player menu no more or map or anything , only move and fight or use spell actually equiped , my save is corrupt and kaput ! thats not cool , i dont know what happen, the game and transformation work good if i use any other armor , this affect only the player model mod ( mordin solus) i not have try with other playermodel !

Also, I finally got around to ACTUALLY using the Miranda playermodel and I have a question. Is it just me or are the eyebrows and eye color discolored (Eyebrows seem blonde and some shading absent on the face)? Is this how it's supposed to look, or did I install something wrong? May be that's the problem. Yes I double checked to make sure the texture/mesh files and esp were in place and active. I figure it's another mod conflict but I just haven't figured it out.

By the way, I found this tutorial on how to make custom race heads with facial animations. Don't know if it will be of any use, but I thought it was pretty cool. Import a vanilla head with skeleton. 2. Import your custom head. !!!WARNING!!! The head must have only one texture. For example if you have a head and its separated in two parts (two textures), neck and head... you need to merge this two textures into one and then change UVMap of the head to this new merged texture. 3. Edit your custom head. I mean, move it to the vanilla head so close as possible. Nose to nose, lips to lips etc (Changing geometry is not needed, if you want to save original character face). If the eyeholes is a bit in different position, dont worry, You can repose the vanilla eyes to look good with your custom head. And yes, you cant use custom eye mesh and you're not allowed to change the UVMap of the vannila eyes. I already tried this, dont make my mistakes !!!IMPORTANT TO Continue!!! If you here, that means that you already configure your custom head, i mean you changed the neck geometry of it, to look good with vanilla or replacer body. 4. Now rig (Skin) your custom head. 5. Now make a copy of your custom head. Hide your skinned head. Remove the skin modifier from the copy of the head. 6. Now we working with your copy. You need to open its lips a bit. Move Upper lip a bit up, and lower lip a bit down. In 3Ds Max, use "select by face" - its the best and easy way to do this. Well IMHO. 7. When you will finish, move your copy head to the zero "0" coordinates (X=0, Y=0, Z=0). 8. Export your copy head in .nif format. Then open it in nifscope and export it in .obj! 9. Use The Conformulator to create a .tri and .egm files from this copyhead.obj. The source headhuman.tri (headhumanfemale for female custom head etc) can be extracted from meshes.bsa. 10. Now export your skinned custom head. Open it in nifscope (Apply the textures), then open the vanilla head in the other window of nifscope. Now working in the "NiTriShape" of your custom head. In NiMaterialProperly, change the "Specular Color" from White to Black. Then in "BSShaderPPLightingProperty", in "Shader Flags", change the shaders to the same shaders as the vanilla head "NiTriShape" have. Then change the "Shader Type" of your custom head from Shader_Default to Shader_Skin. 11. Now copy your custom head "NiTriShape" and paste it in "NiNode" of the Vanilla head. Then delete the "NiTriShape" of the vanilla head. Save your .nif (For Example "MyHeadMorph.nif"). 12. Now copy those .tri and .egm file that you just created from the .obj file, to the same directory as your "MyHeadMorph.nif". Now rename them into the same name as your custom head. For example "MyHeadMorph.tri" and "MyHeadMorph.egm". 13. Thats all, now you can use it to create your race.
