nothindoin Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 so after being a long time away from skyrim i got the itch to fire it up. no mods added. nothing i've changed in months. like i said, the game hasn't even been touched and it worked fine last time i played it. now...out of the blue, i go to skse icon on my desktop and double click. the little "dos box" or whatever it is that pops up for a second before it shows the bethesda logo happens but it never makes it past the box. it gives that error code. i've googled it but can only find stuff from like 3-4 years ago and none of it has helped anyway. so...what gives, fellas? any of you have this issue and if so...resolution?

Some people claim that they fixed this error using solutions provided there. Here is wub wub video from 2015 with the guy explaining how to fix this issue. Judging by the comments, looks like it helped someone. https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/3g7ns4/steam_application_error_p0000065432_running_skse/ A reddit post with some hints on how to fix it. Only year or so old! http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/The_Elder_Scrolls_V:_Skyrim If the game crashed with the following error message - Application Load Error P:0000065432 - then simply restart Steam. There are more than 10 pages in the google search, but I personally never go past first one, too scary. So good luck.
nothindoin Posted January 5, 2017 Author Posted January 5, 2017 thanks for trying to help but unfortunately, didn't work. i was excited for the vid too. hopes were high. "just delete one file? awesome" but nah. apparently there is more too it. i have the latest skse, redownloaded it just to be certain. none of the usual things you'd think of first worked either.
Vortec Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 Have you tried to validate your Skyrim files through Steam?.

spoonsinger Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 O/P didn't say which version of MS O/S they are using. Might be of help to someone trying to help.
nothindoin Posted January 5, 2017 Author Posted January 5, 2017 windows 10. like 99% of gamers, i reckon these days. lol additional info, i ended up just trying to start the game normally through steam without skse and it won't even load with that. no error or anything. just simply does nothing when i click "play." kinda weird for this to happen when it hasn't even been used and no changes made to it in a few months. lol
