raptor4d4 Posted December 26, 2016 Posted December 26, 2016 I never really gave it much thought until now but what is the point of all the different body types out there? CBBE, UNP, 7Base and others. What actually is the difference between them all? Is it just the appearance? I use a CBBE-based Bodyslide body right now. I'm always looking for new outfits. A lot of times I find good ones but they're for UNP or something and I have to dig around for a CBBE version of it. But there's a UNP Bodyslide right? Could I make a UNP body that greatly resembles my CBBE preset? I guess I'm just a little confused about all these, even after all this time.
myuhinny Posted December 26, 2016 Posted December 26, 2016 Because not everyone likes the same thing if we did we would all be boring as hell. Some like CBBE some like UNP some like 7BASE some like CHSBHC some like manga and so on and so on. There are presets for many of the bodies out there as well as presets from other games like oblivion in bodyslide. Oblivion also has a ton of different bodies to choose from and a mod called setbody reloaded which can be used to set every female person with a different body as well as your character with whatever body you want them to have.
Darkpig Posted December 26, 2016 Posted December 26, 2016 What is the point in life? That is the real question. Life is whatever you want to make it. People want to make it different things. Just accept people, world peace, yadda, yadda. To answer your other question. The point of bodyslide was so people can adjust outfits to fit every type of body(Mostly UNP and CBBE). The reason I like UNP is because it is realisticish. I also heard it has more vertexes or something than CBBE. Whatever that means. I'm sure you will find a body just like CBBE

Antrox Posted December 26, 2016 Posted December 26, 2016 bc the spirit of the modding community knows no bounds and spits in the face of no Uhh... maybe because we want variety and to not be trapped to one single body that no one will like at times?
raptor4d4 Posted December 26, 2016 Author Posted December 26, 2016 I get that there are differences in appearances and all that but I guess I was wondering if it was something more than that. If they function different or something. And out of curiosity, overall what are the most commonly used/popular body types out there?
Guest enip Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 So that we can point and laugh at the one we don't like.

Thus, to answer your first question, it mainly comes down to personal preference. And to answer your last question, UNPB(O) seems to be what you're looking for with regards to a UNP preset that resembles CBBE.
