[mod question] Is there a way to disable voices/ moans/ messages?

To clarify, things like pregnancy mods (In this case, Hentai Pregnancy) have 'update messages' that include player moans. I believe Devious Devices and similar mods also use these audio cues. My question is...

 

Anyone know of a way to remove them/ turn them off?

 

I play as an Argonian (which doesn't have a lot of compatibility, arguably) and the human moans... well, to be perfectly honest female sounds in general just don't fit in.

 

Also, in general, does anyone know a good replacer for default voices? ~.~ Along the same concept, the same exact voice for a human is used for a female argonian when hit and... eh, it's pretty annoying personally.

You can check the mod in question that's giving you the voices, I've looked through them and I think the "Devious Devices Integration" is causing the sound you are annoyed by.

 

You can go to the "Data/sound/fx/DeviousDevices" folder to see those files, in there you can replace or remove the sounds that annoy you, but nobody will use them that way. (so they won't trigger on any other character you play then)

 

Either that, or create a mod using scripts that removes the sounds; this will be a lot more difficult so I guess the first method would be fine in your case.

Wasn't Devious Devices ( though I remember a few of those annoying me too, haha...) Though I think it was actually Sexlab itself, which makes sense. I just didn't know if the sounds were packaged or 'loose' in folders, so I thought to ask before accidentally breaking something. Hopefully removing the femalemoan files works... and doesn't just break my game. ;>.>

Instead there should be a setting in the sexlab MCM screen that will allow you to turn off voices as I used it to turn off male moans and sound effects during sex as they sound stupid and I prefer hearing a girl instead of a guy going UM AH.

Well, it ultimately wasn't Sexlab, but Estrus Chaurus+ that was causing it. (Which is odd... as it shouldn't actually have been activating)
