It leaves me wondering if making a sex mod for the game would actually be possible. Anyone know of any (Adult Oriented) mods for the game that are stable, or anyone willing to work on such mods? (proceeds to hint at Sexbound mod like Sexlab) Â

undare Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 If there are coders/programmers who understand Lua and json files, (and can make their own scripted files from zero) feel free to contact me from my profile.  I can do the graphics/animations, and i have like 7 sexual/oriented mods for starbound, so i understand most of the modding scene of starbound.  To give people interested an idea of whats needed :  +We need to make a new Sprite sheet for player interactions, and link them to a (maybe) tech who allow sexual intercourse with an npc/creature/object (with "X" tags) +Afterwards head/arms/extras must be codded too, to match the new body sheet  If we can manage to do those things, we can have like a basic anal/oral and dildo based animations  Next thing we can work like an "Arousal" bar,  pissing bar (with pee animation) cum/mastubation  And many many other cool things   So,, i Summon coders to make this happen! Contact me, and let the debauchery begin!Â

It didn't seem like a language I'd have too much difficulty with if I'd find a reason to learn it. Â I don't have any (real) experience with working in a group, though (mostly a hobbyist programmer). This is because I had a 'programming fatigue' (not sure if this is a thing with more people or just me). Basically, I have a short period once in a while where I just can't bring myself to do any programming work. Also the reason why I don't have the guts to get a job as a programmer, no matter how much I'd like to. Â They usually last 1 to 2 weeks. Sometimes a bit more. I really have no idea why this is happening. Â But besides that, I have started work again. The debauchery still hasn't started quite yet, since I'm still getting used to the Starbound Lua API. The documentation isn't quite complete, unfortunately, which makes things just a bit more tricky. Â Not that I'm trying to make excuses (beyond my programming fatigue). But I just wanted to let it be known that I'm not an asshat who ceased everything, I'm just an asshat who's doing things a bit later than intended

To be honest, dont expect something in a short term, there are no good guides to understand the overall coding scene on starbound, so that leave us with tons of trial and error.  But once we understand the basics, then we can make a system to allow multyple stuff (incluiding yes, multyple poses, and different interactions)  Any another coder interested feel free to join!, if we make this happen then we will make it for (almost) all the wishes and needs.   Cheers!Â

If so, try either Asperite or Pyxel Edit!
