Zeorik Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 New attempt to build my Skyrim up... and this time I'd love some 'expert' advice. I'm sure someone will have an issue for 'begging'... but every time I look at all of this, my head begins to honestly hurt. >.< ADD/ADHD makes it slightly harder to actually keep track of how to get everything working properly With all the mods currently out there, can someone help by... 1: Suggesting the 'best' / easiest to use body mod. I used to use Dimonized UNP ... or something. Links would be great but a description would be enough to get me going. 2: Belly node scaling explanation. Currently the only one I 'know' of is B3lisarrio's UNPB body (I think). I've used it and have had a couple issues with it in the past so... yeah. 3: Armor replacers. Would love something that'd work for the new body, + the belly node. If I recall, Bodyslide can be used to 'paint' the belly scaling onto armor.... though, that program has confused me in the past, so anyone willing to help a moron would be greatly appreciated. 4: As an extension to 3, can Bodyslide be used to add scaling/ etc to Devious Devices gear, such as the body harnesses?
Nefim Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 yay! first! I use http://www.loverslab.com/topic/54739-all-in-one-hdt-animated-pussy/ ^.^ Get the requirements and install those ( remember to grab the HDT RIG when you install the xpmse .. do not install anything not setup for HDT.. it is pretty straight forward just read everything carefully. ) Reason I suggest this mod? It is like the easiest thing to install imo. And you get it all. HDT vajayjay belly scaling, collision .... Belly Scaling is essentially when a node spans out giving the appearance that the belly is "growing". HDT can handle this easy enough, just might need some tweaks in whatever mod your using's MCM. ( Beeing female for example needs the scaling increase just a smidge ) UUNP HDT is the armor you want to use with the above body mod. Everything tends to come with body slide sliders these days so get the body slide studio too. Devious Devices doesn't need to have anything added to them. If you get the sliders all you need to do is run them through body slide ( I use Zeroed sliders and a check mark for racemenu morphs so that regardless of my UNP body they fit ^.^ ) Right so going to toss some links your way for ease of snagging... The Body ( and more ) http://www.loverslab.com/topic/54739-all-in-one-hdt-animated-pussy/ UUNP Book of Iron and Steel ( I love this mod ^.^ ) http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/75861/? UUNP remodeled Armors Standalone ( I like options in my game ) http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/73665/? UUNP Mini dresses ( couldn't find a standalone version ... ) http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69880/? I am still on the look out for armor collections for UUNP ( multiple armors per esp ) but sadly they seem to be rare..... The mini dresses HAVE belly Node scaling ... not sure bout the others but if you run them through body slide ( they all come with sliders) then you will get Jiggly and wigglies so it is possible you will get belly too. Directions After you install the body then install the armor mods. You will want to run all the armors through bodyslide so that they match your body exactly. the book of iron and steel didn't need it for me but I did it anyway.. the downside is now even the bulky metal armors jiggle. I mean, I could go back in and remove the jiggle by using bodyslide but the armors are labeled iron001 etc and... I don't really have time to figure out which is full armor and which is likely a bikini or some such.... As stated though, these are just suggestions and someone might come along with a better option ^.^ happy holidays!
Langmans Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 Hi First of all, use mod organizer 2.0+ to install your mods. I found it invaluable because of it's virtual filesystem that makes resolving mod conflicts trivial. 1) Choose between CBBE or UUNP (Unified UNP). I like UUNP special (sexlab). 2) If you choose UUNP, belly node scaling(pregnancy) is dependant on the armor I think, but not sure. 3) Remodeled Armor for UUNP BodySlide HDT ( http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69562/ ) and the book of steel ( http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/75861/ )There was a high poly vanilla conversion for all the armor/clothes to UUNP but gamefever(the author) decided to take it down. You can use the book of steel with the non-skimpy patch as an alternative For CBBE: (vanilla) http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59960/? or (skimpy) http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25259/? 4) The devious corner ( http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/2238-the-devious-corner/ ) has UUNP bodyslide files for DDA, DDE and cursed loot. Not sure about CBBE bodyslide files for DDA/DDE/Cursed loot, captain??

Devious Corner is obsolete according to the Mod author, Gameplayer - Pretty much everything here has now been fully integrated into Devious Device Assets, Expansion, and Deviously Cursed Loot. I'm not certain about the armbinder which the only thing I did with that was to apply breast weight paints so that it would move a bit more. Just in case you need to see it for yourself lol Post 369 http://www.loverslab.com/topic/51563-the-devious-corner/page-19
Andy14 Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 There is no "THE body" mod. Everything has advantages and disadvantages. For compatibility reasons and most of the armors / clothes, CBBE is probably the best choice. Also, the mesh is most appropriate (in terms of polygons) when you want to make your own morphs, or want to prevent them from pixel lines. Belly-Node now has almost every body. But it is totally outdated - and Bone-scaling is more horror-deformation than a feature. (Depends on skin and mesh - CBBE is also better here - homogeneous polys). Since NiOverride (in RaceMenu or separately), it is not necessary to scale Bones, because Morphs are 100x better than BoneScaling. Why most mods are not updated, no idea. Because Bodyslide is at least as "quasi-standard" as "XP32 / XPMSE". However, you need no nodes for morphs, which is a profit for the skinn, 4 bones per vertices - unfortunately, there are limits. All in all, there is no right decision. Ultimately, personal taste and personal requirements are in demand. Personally, I would focus on what body is most compatible, has the most potential for adjustments - and possibly - there are most clothes / armors for it.

I understand this to a degree... well, in terms of there being different bodies for different purposes, haha. As I said... I'm a bit dense when it comes to modding. ^^; I 'did' somewhat manage to get my old skyrim to run for more than a little bit, but there were issues ll around. That.. and after MO fucked up the load order for the files I gave up for a while Anyhow... The reason I asked was to see what people's personal preferences were / what would be a good body to "start with". ^^ yay! first! I'm not sure how to "run it through Bodyslide" as I'll be the first to admit my idiocy. ^^; I do use MO though! it's what I used for my old 160-odd mods (still not sure how I got that working in the first place...) but after a derp that fucked the file load order (Not the ESM... the files that LOOT doesn't auto-sort) I gave up for a while. This is my... Nth attempt at this, and trying to go with what works, what's "stable"... and trying my best not to fuck things up like before.
Nefim Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 Meh... Usually, as long as you get the UUNP sliders for the armors and such... you simply load what armor / armor groups you want in to bodyslide ( groups can be selected by the middle drop down ) and then select the slider preset you want to use ( I usually go with Zeroed sliders ) and then because I use racemenu morphs I check it ( box by the batch build button ) and then I just hit the batch build button and make sure no extras are ticked ( sometimes a skin will try and sneak in so you just make sure there is no check next to it , i.e untick ) and then just let studio do it's thing. CBBE does have the most when it comes to armors and such, and Yes.. UUNP is my preference..( I am not in to girls smuggling two Hindenburg in their sweaters ). as I said it was a suggestion. Added benefit if you use Racemenu morphs ( it will ask if you want to use em when you install bodyslide ) .. if you tick the box on then the armor should auto adjust to the changes you made to your character's body during character creation ( uunp morph sliders in racemenu .. not sure what it is called for CBBE ) so you can have different npcs / followers with different shapes and not have to fret the armor wont look right.. provided their body is UUNP
Andy14 Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 Anyhow... The reason I asked was to see what people's personal preferences were / what would be a good body to "start with". ^^ Of course- by the way - there are already threads here on LL. I will give you the following advice. Take the body you like best. Everything else is relative nonsense. You could start a worldwide survey about the UNO. If you have 7.4 billion answers, you know as much as before. Only your doubts have risen.

I will give you the following advice. Take the body you like best. Everything else is relative nonsense. You could start a worldwide survey about the UNO. If you have 7.4 billion answers, you know as much as before. Only your doubts have risen. Actually... not quite. The body I was using before was the first one I found, this time I wanted to know more about what 'was' out there, and the differences etc. It's not a stretch to say that I'm a bit slow when it comes to this, and there's so many terms thrown about (UNP,UNPB,Bombshellsomethingorother,7b, CBBE, HDT CBBE, whateverelsetheremaybe) that getting a straight answer from a question seemed simpler that delving through each permutation, every variant to figure out the miniscule differences between them. The original question of a belly scale node was because a lot of threads stated there "wasn't" weights on a lot of the bodies, so only modified bodies would actually scale.
