Walk animation won't get applied.

Hi, I am using the Walk and Run animation by Dragonfly

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34713/

For some reason the animation is just not getting applied. Yes, I ran FNIS 1000 times, reinstalled FNIS, the animation and XMPSE.

Nothing is working.

I have attached a screenshot, you can see that XMPSE is replacing the skeleton in the Walk animation but not replacing the animation files.

So the animation should work fine (I mean it did work before on my previous installation).

If I change the mod order and place the animation below the skeleton then the skeleton is replaced by one in the animation. Then no point in using XMPSE.

Also, if I do the above then after death all objects with HDT physics bug out / get crushed.

Why is this happening?

Can anyone help?

You do not need  the TBBP.ESP or then Skeleton of this Mod - Only the animations hkx files.

XPMSE is fine for this.

Run FNIS is also not necessary as it is sykrim-vanila behaviors.

I don't think you will need that animation if you already use HDT.

HDT should provide you all bouncing and jiggling without need of [TBBP] animation.

However, FNIS logs needed so we can have better idea of what is the reason why the animation is not working.

He means the walk / run animation - not the specific TBBP animation - i think.

I also use the walk / run animation of Dragonfly.

There is TBBP.ESP file in the animation.

There are some NIF files of the skeleton but XMPSE is replacing them.

What Andy14 said.

Can you share what order you have placed the animation, XMPSE and maybe other related mods in?

I could try to replicate that.

Ummmm, okay, so I don't run FNIS?

Then what about my other animations?

I said DragonFly's animations need no FNIS, for your other anim's you need it already!

I do not use FNIS, but DragonFly's animations work perfectly.  ;)

You must only copy the files (mt_run***.hkx and mt_wall***.hkx) in your Data\Meshes\actors\character\animations\female\.

Additional the Dragonfly TPPB Mod has skeleton.nif, skeleton.hkx, oher nifs and a ESP.  <<< You need NOTHING of this - only the (above) hkx.

Skeleton.nif and skeleton.hkx of XPMSE is 100% compatible.

@Winny: All Animations works without FNIS, if it a Vanila behavior.

you know, I do not use any vanilla but rather BBP support.

Also there this animation works.  :P

Not just with TBBP, with a stink-normal BBP skeleton.

???

You use ONLY Vanilla behaviors.

Your BBP/TBBP idles/run/walk/jump etc.  are ONLY replacer.hkx for this behaviors..

The link to the mod is in OT.
You only need the idle?

Then only the mt_idle.hkx.
File path I already mentioned above - and procedure.

Edit and aaaaaargh:
Quick guide for people who want to have Walk / Run / Idle animation from Dragonfly.

If you do not have XPMSE, XP32, or any skelet that has the needed bones - fingers away.

- Download the Mod.

- Unpack the Archive to Folder "damn complicated"
- in Folder "damn complicated"> Data \ Meshes \ actors \ character \ animations \ female \

Here are all the files that are needed.

If you want to use the idle, you should choose all files, if you do not want the idle, all files - except mt_idle.hkx. If you only want the idle - just the mt_idle.

Copy to your skyrim "Data \ Meshes \ actors \ character \ animations \ female \".

It is not necessary to do FNIS afterwards, to make a ritual dance, to paint the face or to kill its neighbors.

He already wrote me a PM, I have far more than that which was published.  ;)

edit: The standing idles is not recommended, when creating a new character, then he turns around his own axis.

Was soll denn sonst passieren? Der kackende Fuchs, der beim Anblick einer Lotusblüte sich den Arsch abwischt . oder was?

Thanks for trying to help me guys, but no matter what I do, it's not working!

I have put in the animation files correctly but the walk and sprint animation simply won't apply.

If I use the skeleton from the animation instead of XMPSE, the run and sprint animation works, walk doesn't.

If I use the XMPSE skeleton, then only the run animation works, walk and sprint do not.

For both the above cases, the mod's 180 degrees backwards run works fine.

And doesn't matter what I do, the walk animation never works.

This is really weird behavior and everything was working fine before I reinstalled Skyrim.

Does anyone have any idea regarding this?
