When I was looking for a marry same gender mod after getting dark world working for warhammer, I noticed this popped up on MODDB not too long ago. I looked early this year and nothing existed (that I could find).

It lets you marry the same gender (so female+female, or male+male)...and funny enough, I discovered you can marry your daughter or son too (not sure if they have to be same gender or not though, didn't get that far. I don't have time to play tonight, but if no one else reports back, I can post if it even matters). So I play the warhammer mod for CK2, and I'm Ariel (wood elf leader) who married her own daughter.

On top of that, it lets you get a surrogate so you can still have children.

Put the dependency for whatever mod you use in the mod file (.mod) (so mine is Warhammer). Its in the description how too.

But for example, mine shows up

dependencies = { "Warhammer: Geheimnisnacht" }

You can also use it with Dark World :P Even though it says its for Game of Thrones mod, it works perfectly with warhammer one, so probably works for all of them.

Again, can't take credit for it. Just figured I'd post it here. I know occasionally posts pop up asking for same gender marriages, so maybe the mod will be good for those looking for that.

Perfect, Now my matriarchic realm of mongolian midget lesbians will truly need men no longer!

Still need male(s) as a surrogate to produce children, but otherwise, yeah you can have pretty much a whole lesbian realm. Its kinda OP almost, because you can get quite a large line of children, and it doesn't take long to do. There isn't any failure chances or anything for it, or time limits till you can try again. The only time limit is when your character gets pregnant (no trait shows up for it, but its a 100% chance of working) and you have to wait just a little bit after the child is born. Then can make another child. Still, it makes it rather awesome to play as either an all gay or all lesbian playthrough. I always wanted same sex relations in CK2, but they never put that in.

I did a bit of tweaks to the actual mod for my personal playthrough, mostly upped the chances of things just a bit. And I added the lustful trait to the chances it goes through (makes sense). Think I did another thing, but don't remember what it was.

So far its been an awesome addition to the game. Took a while for something like this to show up for CK2, so don't imagine it was an easy mod for the guy to figure out

Hmmm, so how do these surrogates work? It sounds like a "click to have a baby" thing, which i agree would be OP, though I suppose the "normal"  way would've been more complicated to mod in

That is literally what it is. You click your partner (have to be married), then there is a decision (when you right click your partner) to have a baby. I think its prepare to have a baby or something like that. Then you can choose to "spawn" in a new courtier (I think it spawns a new one), or choose from someone in your court. Which then you find a suitable court member (including vassals), and have a baby with him/her.

I'm okay with the way he did it. Maybe he can make it less OP eventually, but if it was normal way, yeah it would be pretty complicated to put in like that. Still though, its a pretty awesome mod that I've personally been waiting for, for ages. So its okay with me the way it is. He went into a lot of extra work to have a baby and what not, kinda like a regular marriage. Better than I could have done lol
