cptkorea Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 I'm getting this weird texture bug. Using CBBE body, adjusted vanilla outfits with bodyslide, and I get this weird texture glitch. Had it on feet and when naked for a while, but I fixed those by building the body and feet in body slide. Building the armors and clothes doesn't seem to help, get this problem with almost every female armor. Men look fine. Using MO, I build the body slide files to a separate directory and then built a mod with the meshes to load last in MO so they would overwrite the default meshes. I tried searching for the same glitch, but couldn't find anything exactly like this. I tried solutions for the burned texture showing up, which is what led me to fix the feet and body, but the problem when wearing clothing has a solution that eludes me. When I don't use the CBBE meshes, the textures look fine. RedMonika Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 What do you mean you adjusted the vanilla outfits? Are you using a replacement mod to do this? Bodyslide doesn't mess with the vanilla outfits out of the box.
cptkorea Posted November 23, 2016 Author Posted November 23, 2016 Yes, I do have the skin textures. Using SG textures for CBBE, it looks great when not wearing any clothing. I downloaded a CBBE vanilla clothing mod with body slide support and even tried two different ones, and both had the same texture issue, whether I rebuild the outfits for my body preset or not. Armors that don't have a CBBE mesh look fine, so it has to be a texture conflict with the CBBE body mesh in the armors, but I can't for the life of me figure out why MO isn't automatically taking care of it - I've moved the textures and meshes all over the MO load order with no change, but from my understanding the files listed last in MO (at the bottom) are the ones that take priority.
Andy14 Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 This is definitely not a texture problem, I think. Looks like corrupt BSDismemberSkinInstance. In Outfit Studio you can try to fix: Load your project. Right click on the mesh and click Rebuild skin (or something similar). Save your Project.
RedMonika Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 Have you tried to manually install this? In regards to replacing textures the location of it in the list won't make a difference unless you're using a specific texture for something else. Let's say you're using this but have a texture for steel that you want to use. You'd install the steel texture last to write over the other one.

Rebuild skin partition doesn't exist anymore and I don't think it would help anyway. Does the texture look right in Outfit Studio? Try another CBBE compatible texture

Try another CBBE compatible texture This error is not only in Bodymesh (CBBE) but also Armor (neutral). By the way, right-click on the NiTriShape (mesh) -> Texture -> Edit UV you see if the UV and texture match. To try to fix in Nifskope: 1. In NiTriShapData -> BS Num UV Sets: set to 4097 if it is not 2. Right click NiTriShape -> Mesh -> Face Normals 3. Right click NiTriShape -> Mesh -> Update Tangent Space For both meshes. Save and reload in Nifskope.
cptkorea Posted November 24, 2016 Author Posted November 24, 2016 Here's the same clothing as the screen shot in outfit studio. All the clothing I tried has the right clothing texture, but I noticed it's using the burned body texture for the skin on the vanilla outfits for bodyslide. The immersive armor bodyslide compatible meshes are using the normal skin texture in outfit studio though, but they have the same problem in game. I tried Leyende Skin texture and Mature Skin Texture for CBBE with the same problem in game. This is definitely not a texture problem, I think. Looks like corrupt BSDismemberSkinInstance. Burned Texture does not matter. The skin texture is defined in the Armor Addon (CK). Burned is Astrid - no problem - just preview in Nifskope. 2. No, you do not have to edit any armor. Only if something is wrong. This can sometimes happen - also in 3Ds. No problem from Outfit Studio. If you want, you can upload your nif here, or send me as PM. So I can see better and maybe correct what's wrong. By the way: For Skyrim I do not use NifScope Alpha - only for Fallout4 and Skyrim SE. Edit: I mean the Nif from your Bodyslide: It is in BodySlide -> ShapeData-> Your Project Name

Edit: I mean the Nif from your Bodyslide: It is in BodySlide -> ShapeData-> Your Project Name I tried NifSkope 1.2 and found the setting. It was set to 1 on the Nif for the body mesh I'm using. I changed it to 4097 and did the Face Normals and Update Tangent Space but there was no change in game. I used MO to open Nifskope so it could access the virtual directories and changed the mesh that way.
cptkorea Posted November 28, 2016 Author Posted November 28, 2016 Oddly enough, messing the RaceMenu CBBE morph sliders sometimes changed the textures to all black, or fixed them on the player model. NPC's around the world are randomly affected.
cptkorea Posted November 28, 2016 Author Posted November 28, 2016 It was the batch build in body slide that was the problem. When I built each armor individually, there were no issues. I think MO was discarding the batch built armors, but when building individually it caught them in the overwrite folder and then when I moved the override to the body slide mod, everything was fine in game.
