MercForHire Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 Hey guys, Looking to make this armor http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/1552-tentacle-armor/ equipable under different armors. Not 100% how hard this would be, or if it'd be as easy as changing the slot #..... any ideas? Thanks :]

idle Posted November 9, 2016 Posted November 9, 2016 Yes, just change the slot to one that isn't occupied. You gotta change the slot in the .esp and in the .nif files. But whether the bodies of your armors will be compatible (you gotta delete the reference body from your tentacle armor) is another story. But I suppose all that is manageable with bodyslide.
DixiePig Posted November 10, 2016 Posted November 10, 2016 Yeah, creating a version that uses an unoccupied slot would be a good place to start. Let us know how it goes!

I'll definitely try, I think i'll probably use body slider to first generate the body, then pill it over to nif delete the body mesh, and finally bring it to CT and change its slot. Definitely hoping that works. darkevilhum Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 If it's for personal use and you plan on keeping it on your character for a while you could just add it to your body mesh.nif (super lazy solution).
Evanness Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 You can change armor slots in the meshes' nif files and the ESP as mentioned above. However it will cause a lot of clipping judging by how this armor appears.
