flatout_lie Posted March 21, 2017 Posted March 21, 2017 Necroing. http://www.gamezone.com/news/bethesda-owns-the-rights-to-your-skyrim-creation-kit-mods I might just port SkyUI if they don't fix it. If they want to try to take it down, let them, I can always rehost.
PanicBunny Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 I might just port SkyUI if they don't fix it. If they want to try to take it down, let them, I can always rehost. Don´t do that, that´s kind of a dick move. While modding thrives as a community effort everyone should still be able to decide what to do with their stuff. If it´s that important to you and you beleive that no one will ever make a good alternative just look into their code and let it inspire you to make your own version. But don´t copy other peoples work just because you don´t like their attitude/decisions. Some people like to have a certain degree of control over their work and they should be allowed to have that. You might also scare off some of those people (ok unlikely but just don´t be a dick)
Arhon Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 SkyUI is coming after the SKSE team implement what's needing in SKSE64. Have patience, if you have any.
Guest Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 I while ago I asked Shlangster to be able to update the framework (for Skyrim, SSE, and FO4.) He never gave me an answer. (3 PMs sent, one each month.)
RmX93 Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 At least he's active on nexusmods I can see on his profile.
khumak Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 I actually don't mind the interface as much anymore. With the mods below I rarely need to ever open my inventory or spell menu, I just use favorites. QD Inventory: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1970/? GAV - Categorized Favorites: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/5350 Automatic Item Storage: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/8224 A hotkey mod and the MCM menu for mod customization is the main thing I'm missing.
peculiaris Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 Lucky me I stream SSE to my HTPC and play it with a xb360 controller >;D
E.Grayston Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 Hey! Just last week news came out that there IS progress being made. An alpha has been released for mod authors testing! woot, I saw it on a news section of Skyrim SE on steam, source pc gamer I believe....
DykkenTomb Posted September 21, 2017 Posted September 21, 2017 I would have just let this thread die. Seriously, the only reason to post now it to rub some salt in the non-believers wounds. But nah... Let's just mod and play SSE.
circ Posted September 22, 2017 Posted September 22, 2017 schlangster on reddit said he would take a look at a conversion during the weekend. That was 9 days ago, but who knows, something might happen.
CanadianBlueBeer Posted September 22, 2017 Posted September 22, 2017 schlangster on reddit said he would take a look at a conversion during the weekend. That was 9 days ago, but who knows, something might happen. He has a post about it on the SkyUI page on Nexus. It's ported, but waiting on stability issues with SKSE64 apparently.
