DigitalP Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 So I'm getting 8 frames per secon max. Weird texture/shadow effects/tearing and my sound is desynced.
Guest Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 what's your gpu/cpu/ram? and gpu driver version? are you running any mods?
DigitalP Posted October 28, 2016 Author Posted October 28, 2016 GTX960.......16gb of ram I7 computer is less then 3 months old. By comparison I'm running Fo4 with ENB on ultra perfectly fine.
Guest Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 what are your settings? in the launcher, go to options, bottom left and check windowed and borderless. that might fix it
DigitalP Posted October 28, 2016 Author Posted October 28, 2016 Tried the windowed mode. No dice. Tried all the different graphic settings and yeah no dice.
Guest Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 I'm running a gtx1080 and my fps was dropping like crazy, had stuttering, etc. I updated my drivers to version 375.63(latest) and switched to borderless windowed and that fixed it. Try updating ur drivers and if that doesn't work, sorry i couldn't help.
Guest Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 also, go to Documents\My games\Skyrim Special Edition, open SkyrimPrefs.ini and change iVSyncPresentInterval=1 to iVSyncPresentInterval=0
DigitalP Posted October 28, 2016 Author Posted October 28, 2016 Just a heads up and or possible pinned. If using a laptop make sure in your respective video card settings program you specify the video card and not auto-detect.
Mazhen Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 Im running with 1080 and 16gb ram and i have none of these issues, no tearing and no lag..

How do you do that ?? i currently test on laptop but somehow only auto is working. and the damn thing is always using my imbeded intel instead of my dedicated ati.
UrbanSniper Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 I gave this a test last night on my Win7 GTX 960, 12gb ram, computer is about as old as Skyrim itself, and didn't notice any problems. I ran a driver update before I tried it, though, so I don't know if that's a factor or not.

Erm ditto, 8120 with 8gb and a 970, (didn't bother updating anything driver wise - so I suspect I'm using some old mid 2015 Nvidia driver - Edit 10.18.13.5891, 5/11/2015 in fact). It auto detected performance for Ultra and seems to be fine, (but so so boring). Fraps says 60 most of the time, (but not sure how good Fraps is). Graphic wise it's how you remember original Skyrim was, until you actually run original Skyrim and see how naff it actually was. Oh well, it was free.
Delzaron Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 It's an hell for my computer... but I have only 4 giga RAM and a Intel i3 processor... So, no skyrim special for me this year...
machinistchild Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 i have an i7-4770k 3.50, 12gb of ram and a gtx 960 and it's on ultra settings and it runs like a dream.
