Zanan Posted October 25, 2016 Posted October 25, 2016 Do you feel that the number of CK2 and Stellaris mods could warrant a sub forum? If only so other games on here get a chance too. That and it'd help organize the modding scene for these games. I think there is four active for stellaris and a dozen or so for CK2. Â Apologies if this isn't the place to discuss this, wasn't sure where to put it, but please move it, if it'd fit another forum better.
Ark of Truth Posted October 25, 2016 Posted October 25, 2016 I don't think there would be enough of a following or mod base to warrant a separate sub forum to be honest.
coretex Posted October 25, 2016 Posted October 25, 2016 Theres been several "major" mods that people have been watching/tracking for a while, and then offshoots and whatnot..  We got a DOA5 one... and thats what. .mostly for skin/clothing mods?.. Number of them doesnt count in my book.  There was plenty of CK2 mods in the past to fill up at least one page worth of forum search results, and while it has died off somewhat, better focus can only help it maintain where its at and possibly grow.  Â
ReMeDy Posted October 25, 2016 Posted October 25, 2016 I think thats a wonderful idea, but I am a bit bias in that regard .
Vylania Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 Just figured I'd add my voice in as well. I have no interest in Bethesda games, so I really only check this website for the CK2 mods. It would be much more convenient if there was a subforum.Â
Ashal Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 I'd like to, especially seeing as I've gotten big back into CK2 and Stellaris lately myself, and most of my time spent on them is modding various things to my preference or hacking together compatability patches for incompatible mods I refuse to not use together. So would love to see that side of things grow more on the site. However, I just don't see the demand for it and fear it would ultimately just end in a dead section of the forums. DOA5 had many existing downloads and generic discussion threads, they may have "simply" been mostly skins, but it was still enough users and varied threads to call for a sub-forum. CK2 on the other hand, has only a handful of (great) mods and little to no discussion for the game outside of that- which I don't think is enough to support a subforum. Â But like I said, I've been big into the the Paradox games the past couple weeks, and was big on them a few months ago before taking a break. And I run the damn site, so I just might go ahead and add a subforum for them anyway, if only for my own benefit.
Ashal Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 Welp, you've gone and made me think about it too much. Just added CK2 sub-forum now: http://www.loverslab.com/forum/67-crusader-kings-ii/

Sparlimb Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 Fantastic! With winter coming, I planned on snagging a copy of CK2 for the hibernation. Finding the mods (and help) I'd like will now be considerably easier.
