Riggswolfe Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 I've just started a new character and am about to test the gang things. I was focusing a lot on testing whoring and the Legion. What are the odds we can add the Helios One Legionaries to the mod? Theoretically they should already be in. The Legion seems to have 3 main factions, Fort, Cove, and Generic Legion. I think I added generic Legion some time ago. I'm about to upload a test version that removes the functionality of my gangs variables to see if that solves people's issues. If it doesn't then I don't know what is wrong.

I just stumbled on something that may have had an effect and something else that may have made my whore variable not change the chances as much as intended. I'm going to upload a version to test for those of you with broken workgirl. It may not fix anything, if not, I'll do my original plan of removing the influence of my variables from the Gangs. Primary change: Both the gangs and the whores had a sort of double check. They'd check once to see if they could approach then check AGAIN. I removed one of the checks so they should only check once. Please note that with whores it may make them approach you a crazy number of times!

Anyhow.... with the current version (Posted two or three above this) I'm currently getting no action from Gangs, they run upto me and simply stop, not even the failed to find speech flicker. I've also been playing about with Sexout on another install and have to say, if there wa sa way of combining the two properly so that the wsex stats tracked the events in sexout and sexout rapists properly that would be fantastic. I read in your notes that you've added rape functionality into your mod but I've not yet witnesses that, also, it would be nice if those stats were tracked as an individual statistic. Sorry to ask so much, great mod that really helps spice up the wastelands!

I wasn't in NCRCF for very long so I didn't get to do a lot of testing. If you do end up having to make all gangs use the same chance and toggle, would you consider removing the Boomers from that list? They've never really fit the with the mod in my opinion. Wouldn't have to be right away but just a consideration if it happens. Unfortunately the next time I'll be able to play and test things is at least Wednesday. [/quote'] Well since the feedback seems to be "they dodn't work anymore" I'll be taking my variables out of play sometime today and we'll see what happens. If it's not my variables I have no idea what it could be. I'll do some poking around, in particular I'll try to see if I can figure out any differences between the Legion dialogues and the gangs dialogues other than the obvious stuff.

[/quote'] i usually have to start sex in one of the normal wsex ways (companion, their NPC plugin, etc) before the stats item will keep track of tryout properly.

Well I don't know what alot of your plugins are so I don't know if they have any bearing. I saw cortex scambler for sexual innuendo for example. What does it do? If I ever get time I'll try to look that stuff over. I think I know where some of these bugs have come from but it's a matter of getting time to confirm my theory and then try a fix. I'm very knew to modding but am a programmer in my career so I do have that going for me. I'm hopeful I'll get some time tonight to work on it. Interesting what you say about having to do wsex stuff first rikuth. As far as I know the sex options in workgirl track sex variables. However, when Loogie added alot of extra dialogue some of the additions may not have gotten the variables added to them. (Please note I'm not blaming Loogie for anything, just offering a theory.) However I don't think that is the case but it is the actual sex dialogues that track the variables and to my knowledge all Loogie changed were the intro dialogues when they approach you. Edit: To be clear I was primarily responding to cyounces.
cyounces Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 I tried rikuth's suggestion of doing a compnaion first then going to work and that seems to have fixed the issue. I've obviously done companions before going to work at the Wrangler with my place character! I've still not seen the Virginity thing in action for about an hours play before finally getting it on with someone so I'm not sure that's working my end. As for the CortexScramble it's essentially a paralysing/enslavement gun that allows you to create your own "entertainment" followers from anyone you meet - enslaving takes a huge karma hit but allows you to use them whenever you wish. Again, thanks for all the hard work on this mod - between this and the sexout mods us end users could get a brilliant sex and working pack to use - so thank you for the hard work once more

The version on the front page supposedly does but it is way behind on dialogue changes and the Little Black Book. The virginity thing seems to happen very, very rarely in my experience. I would like to see Bromm tweak it. I think if you change the whoring variable in the little black book it should theoretically increase how often you are approached since the virginity path is actually a side branch of the whore path.

And that means instantly, right after I close the pip-boy. Edit: typo, don't you just hate 'em

[/quote'] Which version are you using? If it's the one from the front page it is an older version of the little black book which closes after every change. If it is a later one the black book works fine but the gangs appear to be broken.

Well tonight I am going to remove my variables from the gangs and see if that fixes people's issues with that part of things. The variables will still be there they just won't do anything. If that's not the issue I literally don't know what's broken with the gangs.

Bromm83 Posted August 8, 2011 Author Posted August 8, 2011 Oki, I fixed it. Now you should be able to change how often the different factions will approach you and they WILL start conversations. If they don't please let me know wich faction it was that didn't do it and I will go over all the topics for that faction to look for something I might have overlooked. During the next few days I will try to do some clean up on the mod, so don't expect alot of new functions. I will add some more to the virginity path tho. Gangs/Legion has as of now no support for virginity topics. This will be added, but now you just have to go around other places to look for that. To increase these approaches you have to increase the whoring chance. New file is on first page in 30 secs when I write this.
