Wsex_WorkGirl_Tryout updated WIP

i'm wondering if Workgirl is dependant on smalltalk or if it will work without it, i dont want smalltalk in my game since it seems impossible to speed up or get rid of the bethesda logo, and since smalltalk makes it impossible to click past it..

I don't think that's small talk since you're the only one with that issue.

 

 

 

You can try this. Go to C:\Users\YOURLOGINNAME\Documents\My Games\FalloutNV if you have win7. It's slightly different on older windows

Open Fallout.ini and play with these

There is a series of four title slides which play before you reach the main Fallout 3 menu screen - these are each named in the four sWelcomeScreen variables shown above. Unfortunately there doesn't appear to be any way at the moment to bypass them entirely; deleting them for example will just result in blank purple slides loading at the start. The best that can be done is to speed up their transitions by changing the fLoadingInitUpdateInterval=5.0000 variable to =0.0000. In practice though it's quicker and easier just to press a key or click the mouse a few times during the initial slides and get to the main menu in a couple of seconds (Fallout.ini).

I had that issue once when I was playing around with tokens but I overwrote and never uploaded that version. It appeared to happen because sometimes people ran up to my girl with the script but didn't actually have any dialogues they could start with her because none of the conditions were met. This should only be happening with the whore/virgin type of dialogues. The way those are done it has to finish the script so if they can't talk to you they just keep standing by you in your personal space. I think we may need to look through those dialogues and make sure there is always one they can do even if it is something cheesy like "You look almost hot enough to buy your services!" and then walk away.

3km? Do you mean 3k? As in 3000 errors? In workgirl alone? That doesn't even seem possible. Are you doing a conflict detection or what? What is it conflicting with if you are?

Alright, I loaded up workgirl and found 7 conflicts total. One is the greeting dialogue and the only conflict there is it has the top level flag set for some reason. Which is also why you have to put Workgirl before smalltalk. I may take that flag off because I don't think it's really needed.

 

Then half a dozen npcs have conflicts. Gamblers conflict with populated casinos and there are a couple of legion conflicts. In all cases it is ai package conflicts that boil down to the added sex packages override one or two of the "wander around and gamble/guard" type packages. These conflicts are actually why I am working on making the AI packages dynamic.

That doesn't look like conflict detection. looks like I need to break out the pdf manual and see how you did that so I can look into fixing it. It will be later tonight, I'm about to do some stuff with the family but thanks for finding these! I'll take a look once I figure out how to bring up these error messages.

 

Edit: If you're doing this by following the mod cleaning steps you're only doing one mod at a time correct?

 

Edit 2: The top few fixes will be easy. However, for some reason my geck won't save my changes to modules all of a sudden so I'll have to figure that out before I can do anything.

Alright. This should have fixed every issue except the effect issue. However as the name ends in Old I have a sneaky suspicion it is what it sounds like. An old version of an effect that Bromm left in perhaps for debugging purposes.

 

I'd highly recommend backing up your current version of Workgirl just in case anything weird happens with this one. Those errors you found were just some bad variables on those 4 dialogues. The worst that should have happened is those 4 dialogues would never have activated.

Unrelated question: When are people starting to pay me money? I fucked through the whole startingzone + the prison, I'm still too "unexperienced".

As for pay I don't really know Derpy. As for the aftersex thing it works for me just fine so I'm guessing you have a conflict of some kind.

I believe it is recommended you only load one mod at a time in FNVedit if you're doing a clean.

 

I don't know. I just loaded it up and tried it on my new girl and people came right up to talk to her after sex so I had no problems on that front. Now, I didn't wait to see if she would get approached. Does it do this on all sex? Only when you ask? Only when they approach you? Only for whoring Only for the Powder Gangers or the Legion? What?

 

I have tested it so far when I ask about sex and with the Legion. In neither case did I have any issues with after sex dialogue.

 

Edit: Also note that the error in your post is the last one I said I didn't fix because it doesn't appear to actually be doing anything and appears to be an old script that was left in just in case or to debug or something.

Alright, this is only a very minor change I'm uploading. All it does is remove a setting in the workgirl greeting that caused you to have to load smalltalk after workgirl or you'd have that annoying greeting dialogue option. Please let me know if it messes up the workgirl greetings type of dialogues. I didn't notice any problems myself. It's literally just a checkbox so if it causes problems I can check it again.

I don't think you need to go that far. I'd load all your mods and use FNVedit to run a conflict detection. It's quite likely you can fix all this either with a change of load order or with a merge patch. I'm not exactly an expert myself so I can't tell you off the top of my head what your issue might be but it almost has to be a conflict.

With a lot of obstination I succeeded to enable at same time innuendo, workgirltryout, animated prostitution, all animations mods with animation tool but now I surrender.^^

 

I try all possible load orders, desactivate, reactivate, skip, reinstallation... It's just not working for me.

What is the all animations mod? I've never heard of it but the others you mention I have had all running at the same time with no problems.

 

As for smalltalk errors, I could probably fix those but it's not my mod nor is it a mod that the creator has given free license to like with workgirl. It looks like, again, it's small issues with a couple of dialogues that won't work right. That shouldn't affect workgirl I don't think and shouldn't affect the Obsidian logo being unskippable.

I run these and have no conflict issues. I can skip the logos and I get all the aftersex dialogues. (note that workgirl coming last is because it reset it after I modded it, usually smalltalk is my last mod. I didn't bother to move it because I was testing whether or not that last change would get rid of the greetings showing up if workgirl is after smalltalk.)

 

I also had AP but took it out because I didn't really need it anymore and I prefer how workgirl has more of a quest kind of feel to it.

I'm having two issues:

 

1. The previously described issue where other than Legion members, when approached by various gang members they either briefly open a chat and then close it, or they don't open a chat at all.

 

2. The legion won't collar me when I disobey. For a while I would get a follow-up conversation, but something I changed recently in my load order made that stop too.

 

Troubleshooting steps I've tried:

 

- I've cleaned my save by loading without any wsex modules enabled, saving, then reenabling the modules.

 

- I've tried loading with nothing but lings.

 

- I've tried starting a new game from scratch.

 

The one thing that might be suspect is the version of smalltalk I'm using. The newest version (labeled version 2 at Nexus) seems to be designed to work only if you have the official DLC packages, which I do not, so I'm using the older version. However, even when I load without Smalltalk, I still have the two behaviors described above.

 

Any pointers or help you might be able to provide would be much appreciated.
