I'm having two issues:

1. The previously described issue where other than Legion members' date=' when approached by various gang members they either briefly open a chat and then close it, or they don't open a chat at all.

2. The legion won't collar me when I disobey. For a while I would get a follow-up conversation, but something I changed recently in my load order made that stop too.

Troubleshooting steps I've tried:

- I've cleaned my save by loading without any wsex modules enabled, saving, then reenabling the modules.

- I've tried loading with nothing but lings.

- I've tried starting a new game from scratch.

The one thing that might be suspect is the version of smalltalk I'm using. The newest version (labeled version 2 at Nexus) seems to be designed to work only if you have the official DLC packages, which I do not, so I'm using the older version. However, even when I load without Smalltalk, I still have the two behaviors described above.

Any pointers or help you might be able to provide would be much appreciated.

Unfortunately I don't know much about any of your mods. I thought I read somewhere that slave in pose can interfere with animations for wsex and sexout both but I can't remember where I read that.

When you disobey the Legion you have to get I think 60 "slave" points. You usually get around 10 per interaction so it should take half a dozen times or so. I haven't tested the full Legion path recently but it worked last time I did. When I get a chance I'll do so.

I don't know what would cause the other issue. It'd be good if we can get that other guy with the same issue to post his load order. In particular, if you two have a mod in common we might be able to narrow it down.

Also, if you have fnvedit I'd highly suggest running a conflict filter and seeing what you find out that way.

Hello, I'll try to keep this quick. I've seen this mentioned a while back (Loogie pg.3) but is there a fix for the invisible male body bug that seems to spring up whenever I whore out Veronica in the atomic wrangler? She's literally being sexed by a head and a pair of hands XD

I'm using breezes male without any other problems and I've got the latest S.I. installed. Any ideas anyone?

Thanks

You have a missing mesh. I think it's called upperbodymaleerect.nif or something like that. You should be able to download it straight from the sexual innuendo site on the nexus.

Thanks for the swift reply Riggswolfe. Just checked and I have 'upperbody-erect.nif' in my '_male' folder. I'm trying all sorts of things at the moment but with no success.

Male bodies appear during my chars animations just not veronica's... hmmmmmmmmmm

Most of them are just armor mods. As for Slave in Pose, I think I've tried without it but I'll certainly try again the next time I get a chance to load up the game. I'll also take a look into FNVEdit -- I've not played with that tool yet, but I'm sure I can figure it out.

Regarding the no dialog issue: earlier I think you mentioned that it might have to do with certain conditions not being met. Perhaps I can give you a sqv dump of the variables for the mod? What's the mod name that I would dump?

Derpy, can you post your load order to help us troubleshoot this one?

I thought for sure it was that mesh. I also remember either on the AP page or the sexual innuendo page on the nexus that it specifically mentions this issue and the fix for it. It may be a different mesh but I don't remember specifically. I do know it is definitely a mesh issue however.

make a copy of your 'upperbody-erect.nif' and rename it to 'upperbodymale-erect.nif'

You need both files because some animations look for one and some look for the other.

Well FNVedit has a pdf you can download that has very helpful step by step instructions. I highly recommend it.

As for the dialogue, you're speaking of initiating dialogue before or after sex? Have you looked in your little black book to ensure the faction is activated?

YEEEEAAAAHHHHH! That did it! Thank you very much :D

Ahhh...that was it. I knew it was one of the erect meshes. Lol. Like I said, you can go to the nexus and find the actual mesh on either the AP or Sexual Innuendo required mods list I believe. Sorry I misled you. I forgot the specific mesh.

It tracks sex xps and awards perks and such yes. Speaking of' date=' I just downloaded a new version of it tonight. Well a hotfix for Version H at least.

Have you noticed any problems with Workgirl with the new version? Apparently it includes the changes from Sexual Innuendo Revised which fixes the goofy perk names. Sounds like a pretty decent change.

I just installed it tonight. This actually explains why you were annoyed by the perks and I wasn't. I was running the revised version this whole time and not the "vanilla" wsex.

But, in my very limited playtime earlier I didn't notice anything. I'm considering starting up a new game tonight and playing until the wee hours. If I do I'll let you know, though ironically I'd like to keep my new character a virgin as long as possible partly because I want to see the changes that Bromm is making to the Virgin path. Lol. Though I might just load up my higher level female since she is soooo not a virgin already.

Hello all. I will be back to work on this in å couple of days. The wsexaaceffectold is just for something i am working on, not fully in use yet. Every time someone runs up to you, try to start å conversation, then walks away without starting å conversation it is å problem with the conversation topics. This happens because not all conditions for the conversations available have been met. Once i get to add some more topics this should never happen. As it is now it should only happen rarely.

Yeah that's what I figured. Bromm, you might want to add my latest esp to the front page. Someone found that about 3 or 4 of the conversations had invalid conditions and so would never fire. In particular the conditions looked like:

getquestvariable wsexaacquest. > 50

But no variable was actually identified. I did best guesses to fix them. For example, one was a conversation about oral sex so I put oral points in as the variable, etc.

Do you think a clean save would reset you back to being flagged as a virgin? Kind of like being born again haha

That was my plan for testing it anyways.

I'll add it as soon as i have internet back up. As it is now i barely have electricity... Been remodeling my apartment, wich takes time, but should be done by end of tomorrow (gmt). Will have å look through all the topics then and sort out all the conflicts so everyone should start conversation. Now, do any of you know how to script it so that you can talk to anyone? I ask because i see many people have problems with smalltalk, and i want to eliminate dependancies like that. I also want to find out how to turn off stds and perks from si. This mostly because the amout of sex you have in this mod makes you permanently infected, and i want to work on my own perks more in line with the direction we are going. With loogie making the names and descriptions ofc. Anyone have tips on good perks to add? I have å few planned allready including one for virginity, working girl, slave, violated å lot and things like that. Now i have to go back to remodeling, cya soon.

Yeah, so this is exactly what happens to me with the Kings. I also just tried to visit the Boomers to try there, but even with the encounter rate set to 100% they never seemed to approach me. (And to be be clear, I'm fairly certain I'm using the newest version you've uploaded.)

Are there any specific variables I can dump out and show you guys that might help identify what's going on? Also, what's the variable related to the Legion disobedience count? Tying multiple times there still had no effect.

As for FNVEdit output:

When I run an error check on wsex_tryout I get the following:

[00:00] Checking for Errors in [25] wsex_workgirl_tryout.esp

[00:01] EFID - Base Effect -> Found a NULL reference, expected: MGEF

[00:01] Above errors were found in :Effect

[00:01] Above errors were found in :wsexAACEffectOld "Allready been a customer" [sPEL:25019C39]

[00:01] Above errors were found in :GRUP Top "SPEL"

[00:01] Above errors were found in :[25] wsex_workgirl_tryout.esp

And when I filter down to just the conflicts, I see the greeting conflict with smalltalk and a few conflicts on gambler NPCs with wsexinnuendo and populated casinos, but no real smoking guns.

EDIT:

So as a sanity check, I loaded up the following very reduced load order:

FalloutNV.esm

Playthings.esm

Lings.esm

wsex.esm

Better Ammo Crafting.esp

wsexInnuendoNPCs.esp

wsexInnuendoAnims.esp

Smalltalk.esp

wsex_workgirl_tryout.esp

Total active plugins: 9

Total plugins: 40

Same behavior: Legion approach, open dialogs, and initiate sex properly, but Kings, Boomers, and Khans all approach but fail to open dialogs (and in this particular test they didn't even do the half open thing -- they would just run up and then do nothing).

That error is the one described a page or two ago. It's not the cause of your problem and in fact is only technically an error.

Hmmm...even with that load order. You could try making a "clean" save by using the workgirl dummy file from the nexus and hope that it resets whatever variables are messed up in your save.

Yeah, I was loading into a clean save with that load order, I'm afraid. :(

So the one thing that still sticks out to me is that you are using the official DLC (and presumably the newer version of Smalltalk) as presumably many others here are, whereas I am not. Also, for whatever it is worth, I am running the Steam version of the game, fully updated with the latest NVSE (or the latest as of two or three days ago when I last downloaded it :P ).

So that raises the question: is there anyone who is currently successfully using this mod who is running a vanilla install of F:NV, and as a result also running the older version of Smalltalk?

And also: are there any specific variables I can check that might have a bearing on what dialog options the gang members have?

Well, technically all versions of FO:NV are steam versions. I actually buy my DLC through the Steam store in fact. As for your question, I don't know but it'd be interesting to find out. It is quite possible that the non-DLC version of smalltalk has some bug that the DLC version does not.

The dialogue options are pretty much all controlled by the same variables with the exception of the toggle I made and the percent chance variable I made. Other than that it all goes off of how often you've had sex, what type of sex it was, etc.

Link to comment

arent you suppose to load smalltalk AFTER the workgirl_tryout.esp file?

It still works but in earlier versions of Workgirl you'd have a dialogue topic called Greetings everytime you talked to people. I believe I fixed that in my latest esp. It didn't break workgirl though if you have it after smalltalk.
