Guest Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 So i have read in treotas tutorial over at the nexus that there is a way to set up bones so they have better physics simulation.. the breast bones are not in one line they a more like a curve.. anybody can approve this or got ANY informations about this? Maybe tweaked skeleton?
27X Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 There's nothing to "prove", it's a given fact more bones will allow more control at finer increments. The trick is getting someone to write a skeleton with 11 million bones so your CPU catches on fire, which is probably not going to happen. Alan from ANK made a rather exacting skeleton with an assload of bones for every part of the vulva and nobody wanted to touch it with a ten foot max tool. Check the un7b skeleton.

Check the un7b skeleton. no i dont want a prove man sry for misunderstanding, its spimly logical that if there are more bones the simulation will be more precise but what i meant is the same amount of bone just placed...let me say better for skinnedmeshphysics :DD i just wanted to know if anybody experimented with it ^^ i will check the un7b skeleton thx for your help and have a good day!! i provided screenshot so you can see what i mean
Groovtama Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 You can set up bones better, yes, but you are ignoring compatibility. So many bones does not mean something works better. More bones means more complexity and more ways to screw up. Also you can accomplish more with a good skining and just as many bones as you need, rather than many bones and shitty over the top skinning which has also limits like skining it self has limits and processing power. And also that pic what you posted shows a completely inaccurate state of how hdt pe or smp setup works. That guy probably doesn't even get what mesh based physics are so don't listen to him. There are more talented HDT people here on LL or on 3DM if you are able to talk to one, ask them. Nexus for HDT related stuff is like a shit hole of idiots. 90% of what the most people say on forums about Skyrim physics and skeletons\XPMSE are so totally taken out of their asses. Test stuff yourself, understand the stuff, compare the results to others, reevaluate, test again.
