Animation Packs Crashing Game

Recommended Posts

I've been trying for the last hour to install some animation packs.

I'm using Mod Organizer to load the rars, I generate FNIS, check my load order with LOOT and run the game through SKSE.
I can get to the menu, but after selecting my save - the moment that the loading screen is about to end, the game crashes.

I've tried several animation pack independently, but they all do the same thing. What am I doing wrong??

Before you ask, I have the most recent versions of SexLab, FNIS and JContainers.
I have also installed SexTools and SLAnimLoader that DO NOT crash the game on their own. SLAnimLoader is set to load before any animation packs.
This is a complete new install that I started yesterday.

The animation packs that I have and are failing with are :

Zaz Animation Pack

SLAL FunnyBiz AnimObjects (I followed the link to the most recent version)

More Nasty Critters

Please help if you know what's wrong. =(

see if you can successfully do a coc qasmoke via console at the main screen, will help to isolate things.

my initial thinking is some kind of skeleton problem somewhere but I'd defer to peole familiar with ZAZ and more nasties.

Sorry, I don't know what a "coc qasmoke" is.

What does that look for?

Edit : Oh cool. I never knew about that in all the years that I've played Skyrim. O_O

I can load "coc qasmoke" fine with "SLAL Funnybiz AnimObjects" and "SLAL FunnybizPack Group Animations" enabled. Everything looks find and seems to be working fine.

I still can't enter a clean-ish game save though and the last time I tried to start a new game, the cart you start off on ran into the city wall and overturned.... <.<

It's not a skeleton problem.  Meh321's Crash Fixes mod reports this CTD as a Foot IK error, but he admits that isn't what it is.  It is simply an issue most of us get when we have a lot of animations installed.  For some people, it's 50 animations.  For others, it's 5000 animations.  Depends on operating system, machine power, other mods running, etc.

This mod was designed specifically to solve your problem.

Okay, installing that didn't let me into my newer save, but I WAS able to load my save where you select your name and race (skipping the cart scene).

Everything seemed fine. .....Until I undressed (on the Stormcloak line) the dead stormcloak and two imperials for loot.

Genetils have been stretched up to much higher positions. *clears throat*

Hrrrm.... this'll be interesting to find what did that.

I'm afraid I can't help you with those problems.  The link I provided only aids in loading saves while you have a lot of animations installed.  The other things you describe are something else.

Yar, definitely.

I might create a new thread.

Btw, especially for testing purposes (and for me in general) it's a good idea to use Alternative Start when you start a new game. Skip that stupid intro which is according to several modders unstable as hell in a modded game... and it's much faster. ;)
