Darkening Demise Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Well it doesn't look great what so ever and of course it being your average modern AAA title its bugged horribly. And yet before there was Watch Dogs (soon to also be Watch Dogs 2) and now we're at a all time new low for 'GTA Clones'.
tacomarine Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Goodbye, franchise once loved. You are another victim of corporate greed....
Aria Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Gotta say this year has been pretty bad for games so far. Slowly but surely anything being slapped as AAA game should be seen as a mark of a buggy release, with some in a state not ripe for a release or a shite port, better being avoided.
Darkening Demise Posted October 12, 2016 Author Posted October 12, 2016 Wow that side by side comparison just makes it look worse. I love Mafia 2, too bad the casual filth that plagues gaming bashed it and it didn't sell well enough causing the developer to go bankrupt so we get this crappy sequel. Gotta say this year has been pretty bad for games so far. Slowly but surely anything being slapped as AAA game should be seen as a mark of a buggy release, with some in a state not ripe for a release or a shite port, better being avoided. 2015 was ugly too, AAA is going downhill due to laziness and greed. They know people will buy their garbage no matter what and they can patch it whenever they feel like it. Get ready for Ubisoft's upcoming games Watch Dogs 2 and Ghost Recon Wildlands.
Captain Cobra Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 The game wasn't made by 2K Czech, so like all series than end up being traded to different publishers, it was shit from the start. Literally the only thing this game has going for it is finding out what happens to Joe Barbaro, and you don't need to buy the game to find that out, thank goodness.

Yep, just makes you sad watching this, how something that was once about fun and creativity is being completely drained by business practices that have no respect for anything. I just dont understand how people can year after year buy this same crap and let these companies get away with it, truly sad.
Kakabishan Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Quality control? Who needs QC when you have suckers already lining up and filling the coffers of these greedy devs with preorders to ensure they get shafted when their product arrives in a sorry state.
hoxi Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 Well here i was wondering if i should buy mafia 3. Guess i'll buy mafia 2 instead xD
NitroPolaris2020 Posted June 29, 2018 Posted June 29, 2018 I enjoyed the mafia series still one of my fav. games i wouldnt compare it to gta of course gta is more modern times gang related stuff mafia was based on events in the 70s and so on. although with out the latest patches to mafia 3 their where alot of glitches and piss offs to the side missions but was still alot of fun to play and gave a good feeling to the past that most of us havent lived through
