That depends on what is left in your journal.

A new version is up with one main addition - you will now have a chance to expel chaurus worms and eggs after a few days.

I am working on more updates on Parasites this month but that one seemed important enough for a release:

Hey,

I can't get any inflation to work at all, and it has previously worked (previous setup, old computer). I also can't get the chaurus queen infections to work when manually doing it in the MCM, although this is a lesser concern as I haven't actually progressed the story that much, so maybe it works organically.

 

I have all the required mods. I use XPMSE and Racemenu for the inflation but they don't work (at least not anymore!). I've tried rearranging them in the load order and reinstalling them. I've even made a new MO2 profile with only the required mods and it still doesn't work, so there doesn't appear to be an outside conflict (I was worried that CBBE Fitness Body was a problem, but doesn't seem to be?)

 

I don't know if I need to do something specific in Bodyslide, but for what it's worth my method has always been to check 'Build Morphs' and then batch build everything. Same thing I did when inflation used to work properly (also in other mods, like Cursed Loot). Don't think the issue is here either, including it as info though.

 

Not sure what to try next. Any help/ideas? Skyrim LE.

 

EDIT: Tried the just-updated version, as well as a version from July of last year, same deal: no inflation.

That happened to me recently and I found I used the wrong base body when building my meshes in Body Slides.

 

Make sure you have selected a body that can handle belly and breast morphs. 

As a test, try selecting CBBE Body BBP and see if that works for you. Once that is working, you can test with other bodies you have installed.

 

If you say Racemenu and XMPS are not working properly, you should try and fix that first because that will mess things up for you no matter what you select in Bodyslides.

Hey thanks for the info, tried CBBE BBP now, was previously using CBBE HDT though (that used to work). CBBE Body BBP didn't work either.

 

To my knowledge Racemenu and XPMSE both work properly. Maybe I misspoke - when I said they don't work, I meant inflation doesn't work even though I have the mods. Sorry for any confusion. When I check XPMSE in the MCM for example, everything checks out. Character creation and all associated sliders work, too.

 

I guess it's possible it is a Bodyslide issue still, but just cannot figure it out.

mm  for me when i read the  books no quest starts and i didnt even get the cave spawn in alternative life and the water is glitching around like teleporting and stuff

Which books do you mean?

 

The Alternative Start is defined in Content Consumer Alternate Start (CCAS).. that's a separate mod.

 

I don't know what you mean about the water teleporting.. maybe a screenshot could help?

Quick update:
Going back to my original save (before making any changes in load order) I am able to get Milk Mod Economy inflation to work just fine (I just have it disabled by default as I'm not interested in that part). Enabling it, it's clear the body/skeleton are fine. For what it's worth, enabling inflation in MME did not fix inflation in this mod though. Moving the .esp to the end also did not fix it (didn't expect it to), although it did change the texture of the facehugger parasite for some reason.

 

Anyone have suggestions/ideas?

 

 

EDIT: Estrus Chaurus+ inflation works, too, via spit attack pregnancy. Is it just not meant to work via MCM manually in this mod? That would be odd but just... don't know.

Two things mainly at the moment:

- flesh out the effects and healing of the Tentacle Monster and Living Armor

- move the Spriggan quest from SD+ into Parasites as a fungal infection

 

I also have ideas of a final chapter to the Queen of Chaurus but I need to get a clearer idea of what that quest will look like.

I would like it to involve dealing with the Elder Roots once you become Queen and maybe even going back through the Rift, but the details are too vague right now to build a real quest out of them.

Appeal to the author of the mod

I really like your mods and I want to continue to enjoy them, but before installing them in my Skyrim build, I have to translate them into my native language. English is not my native language.

 

When translating your mods, I have to translate not only esp files and Interface/Translations, but also climb into the mod scripts. I can't keep track of which variables can be touched without a lock, and which ones can't, and how this will affect the mod's performance. Therefore, I ask you to collect the text strings available for translation in a single script file, if they are used in scripts and the text of the mod settings in SkyUI mcm in the /Interface/Translations folder.

 

I am sure that not only I, but also other translators will be very grateful to you if you do so. Yes, I understand how difficult it is to create mods and perhaps my request will put too much work on you to rework your mods, but if you do so, it will soon become easier for all of us.

Thx for ccas  the water loged journal is the book your soposed to find in the cave when you first start out  and the water glitches from water into  the void and it happenes everywhere around water

The only way to start in a cave and have to look for a journal with Parasites is if you are already using CCAS and Stories in addition to Parasites.

 

There are multiple ways to start the quest in Parasites.

 

If that journal is lost because the cave is glitched for you, just ignore it and go to Morthal.

Hey don't know if it's useful but if I get a chaurus worm infection organically (not using MCM), then inflation works. Does not work for the face/crotch hugger though under any conditions. Haven't tried all options/combinations, just found these that don't work... at least not for me. Maybe other people aren't having this problem?

 

Great mod though! One of the first I check on for updates when I come back from long breaks in playing Skyrim.

The next version of Parasites will have Blue milk for lactation while infected by some Parasites (through Hormones).

 

I will also work on adding a body slavetat for each parasite.

 

I am currently testing random events and how to cure the Tentacle Monster.
