Cascarino Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 I've been at this for ages now, trying to figure out why may game keeps crashing. I've been trying to start a new game, but am always getting crashes when entering the Goodsprings bar. I've tried turning off all mods and slowly reactivating and for a while I thought removing rePopulated wasteland fixed things, only to get more crashes again later. I figured I'd post my load order here in case I'm doing something obviously wrong that someone can recognise right away, otherwise I'm just gonna have to strip out all mods and add them one by one FalloutNV.esm GunRunnersArsenal.esm DeadMoney.esm ClassicPack.esm TribalPack.esm CaravanPack.esm OldWorldBlues.esm MercenaryPack.esm HonestHearts.esm LonesomeRoad.esm Sexout.esm SexoutCommonResources.esm SexoutSlavery.esm SexoutLegion.esm Lings.esm RHKGilbertCompanion.esm Lings-PlayableRaces.esp LingsPrettyThings.esp SexoutZAZ.esp Bouncing Natural Breasts.esp bzArmour.esp companions.esp UnlimitedCompanions.esp DYNAVISION 2 - Dynamic Lens Effect.esp SexoutSS.esp SmallerTalk.esp Type3MClothing_OWB.esp SexoutPregnancyNG.esp Type3MClothing.esp NVWillow.esp SexoutStore.esp SexoutCompanions.esp Sexout LevelUp.esp SexoutNotify.esp SexoutYield.esp SexoutNGXP.esp SexoutHookupsAlt.esp SexoutLust.esp The Mod Configuration Menu.esp SexoutDiscounts.esp FastSleepNV.esp Reflectron.esp MGS_Alert.esp C93 - FPS Health Regeneration - Full Heal.esp Wastelanders.esp RHKGilbertCompanion-Lings.esp MojaveDelight.esp NoPipboy.esp RHKGilbertCompanion-MojaveDelight.esp SexoutBrutalRapers.esp SexoutSex.esp SexoutFiends.esp SexoutKings.esp SexoutKhans.esp SexoutPowderGangers.esp SexoutWorkingGirl.esp SexoutNCR.esp SexoutConsequences.esp populatedcasino.esp SunnyCompanion.esp Kobu's New Game Quick Start and Better Rebuild.esp Total active plugins: 61 Total plugins: 65
zippy57 Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 This might be your problem, this particular plugin has a tendency to be fairly unstable: FalloutNV.esmReally, it depends on where your crashes are actually occuring. If it's always in the same spot, like entering the Goodsprings bar, then it's probably a mod. If the game just randomly crashes, that's what you have to put up with while playing FNV. One thing you should do is deactivate SexoutNotify, it's meant to be a debugging tool only and has been known to cause problems in the past.
PhilMc2 Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 my first impression is that your load order is bad... I know might suck but you probably should get BOSS to let it be rearranged... If this fails FNVEdit would be the next step...this way you can directly solve ANY conflict and I would bet on that you have some conflicts FNV is extremely unstable and needs a lot of finetuning to resolve crashes...so I can only advice to have a deeper look with FNVEdit
sora3 Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 From your list, it is really bad. There's probably a couple of mods that's clashing each other. Also, I highly suggest you get a bug fixing mod such as Mission Mojave or NVEC. Having these unofficial patch mods will allow New Vegas to run a little bit better. Also, another thing to note (and perhaps put on all the Sexout mods) is that ANY mods that changes the DEFAULT AI behaviour mod (such as attack patterns or the like) will cause crashes as I figured out.
KainsChylde Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 I've seen this suggested in other threads, your vanilla ESMs should be in order of release. I don't remember exactly what that order is off the top of my head, but it should be fairly simple to find.
prideslayer Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Vanilla mod order is: FalloutNV.esm DeadMoney.esm HonestHearts.esm LonesomeRoad.esm GunRunnersArsenal.esm Every other mod should come after these. The order of these though actually shouldn't matter, as long as FalloutNV is first. None of them modify assets that the others use, and none depend on each other as an asset.
