I'm having a problem myself,  I got to where I can supposedly get the 2nd gen appearance but nothing is changing when I activate it with the computer.   It tells me to wait 5 seconds after exiting and when I wait 5 seconds and beyond nothing happens,  i'm still a robo babe with a metal hand and showing components.   How do you get the 2nd gen appearance to show?  Please Help.

Yes sir,  I am past level 10.  When I couldn't get it to work I thought that it might have been a level thing so I went out and did a lot of grinding so I'm well past level 10.

 

 

Something is interfering with the script. Are you running any other race mods? Or perhaps Unique Player? Or anything that modifies terminals in any way?

 

Finally, you are using the terminal inside the ruined C.I.T. building, right?

Ahh.... that's where the terminal you need is. It's on the opposite end away from the supermutants and synths in the office there.

I found it finally,  since i've been getting some missing textures I've been over analyzing things and when I do that I miss some obvious things.   Oh and before I forget to mention it,  there was a typo in that terminal. (can't remember what it was at the moment but when I get back on the game I'll sniff it out for you)

There's likely a few. Chalk it up to my fumble fingers

I found that terminal. That one led me to the bunker where I found a second terminal. I came back out of the bunker after reading the terminal in there and went back to the one at the truck, but it still said the same thing.

 

Then I went into the building and found the third terminal. I read it, sparks flew, and got the gen 2 body. Then it tells me to go back outside to the shelter in the courtyard. There are 3 shelters outside. Two across the street, and one in the courtyard.

 

Across the street, one is open, and the one beside it needs a key.

The one in the courtyard that the terminal said to go to still says it requires a terminal to open.

I even went back to all three terminals again to make sure they didn't say something different.

 

So is there a fourth terminal? Or do I have a script not firing or something? 

 

I know it's not supposed to be handed to me, but I want to make sure it's just me missing something and not me having an issue.

 

 

Edit: I just saw your post in the other thread. The way I read the terminal was that it would let you in at  level ten. Apparently it needs ANOTHER ten levels.

So you have to be level twenty to access the shelter. (I think I'm only at 15 or 16)

Also keep in mind that some terminal entries are hidden until you reach the level requirement. At level 15 the sewer bunker terminal will allow you to swap between gen 1 and gen 2 as desired. If you're lower than 15 you won't be able to see it.

There isn't one for such limited information.....

 

Recommendation #1 is to start a new game. Existing characters miss out on too much story for things to make any sense. #2 is post your load order if you still get infinite loading screens after trying #1.

 

If this is happening on a new character, it's typically because there's something conflicting. Unique Player being the most likely if you have it installed.

Only bug I have and unsure if its me as no else has mentioned it but the Billboards added are pink....

All else is working just fine. Not yet reached the nurse dress texture thing I read about. Seen what it looks like in 

Bodyslide and Outfit Studio.

All else is working just fine. Not yet reached the nurse dress texture thing I read about. Seen what it looks like in

Another Bug i found was Nick Valentine's upper face has disappeared for some reason (im reinstalling the mod to see if that solves it)

 

That isn't a bug with my mod. You got something else going on man. This mod does nothing to synths in any way.

Even after the hints given in the thread, I couldn't for the life of me figure out where the heck the R&D building was; had to fire up the GECK to figure it out. (In retrospect, capitalization in the terminal entry would have helped.)

 

After getting in, the nanite research terminal came up blank for me; not sure if that was intended or not. Similarly, no new terminal entries or ARIA updates I could find.

 

And I'm not sure if this is a bug in my setup, bad interaction with LooksMenu, or something else: getting a haircut will let you change your hairstyle and color, but not display any changes until you save and reload. Going to the surgery center to try and change body aspects fairly reliably causes my game to crash.

 

And finally: at the very beginning I accidentally hit Codsworth, and he hated me until I hid for a week.

 

And another thing I'm not sure about: the bunker "revert to Gen 1" terminal didn't work until I disabled fourplay and the asia fourplay patch. (The fourplay test room didn't work, either.)

Ran into a couple of enslaved/stolen sexbots in raider settlements, and when I try to interact with them they aren't really responsive... Is there anything I can do for those poor things?

I thought same thing, killing off the raiders and want to set them free but they don't seem interested in chatting, shame

Maybe I am looking too bad but I can't find any other additional links for seperate textures. The only thing I can download is archive that is roughly 230MB. It does include Textures .ba2 file but I still get pink billboards (and nurse dress for that matter). Also is their hair supposed to be like this or am I missing some mod? I did install all the requierments.
