SirDuke Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 Hi! Could anybody help me with this breastplate? It just won´t let me copy the breast bones from the body to the breastplate. Everytime I try it, it get´s completly messed up. Thanks outfitf.nif
myuhinny Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 Why not give mesh rigger a try it can transfer bone nodes from one template to another. In this case you would just have to make a copy of the outfit nif delete out the outfit save it and use it as your template nif and place the outfit nif in the target folder and run mesh rigger to add the bones from the template body into the outfit. http://www.loverslab.com/topic/24797-mesh-rigger-skyrim-fallout-oblivion-beta89f-10-26-2014/
SirDuke Posted October 1, 2016 Author Posted October 1, 2016 Hell yeah! Took me 10 minutes to learn and get the job done! Great! Did I mention, that I´ve tried to copy those bones for about two hours with blender and one hour with outfit studio... I feel like Sir Stupid now... But many thanks to you!
myuhinny Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 Your welcome. Not sure if fallout 3/NV has a working outfit studio yet or not. If there is one to get the bone nodes to transfer is to start new project select the body then select the nif once loaded select outfit and then go to the bones tab and mass select to highlight all bone node. Next click shape - copy selected weights then shape - transfer selected weights.

It´s still convertable to FO3 / NV and a pretty simple and easy to use editing programm. The simple increase/decrease volume funtion for meshes is still unbeatable and much easier than editing with blender. But sadly the export function works only in 9 of ten cases correct. :-( I am still using blender to edit the files, which Outfit Studio refuses. But on this file, everything wentwrong until you came with mesh rigger Thanks
