Hey! Just getting back into Skyrim and was looking if someone could post their load order of a great mix of mods (visual and gameplay, and mainly good adult mods!) Anything helps and I've got a greaat computer so massive lists are welcome. First time poster so, ah, sorry if I seem like an asshole or something.

This is relevant to my interests. My husband and I recently bought computer parts to put together the Ultimate Gaming Machine™, and when we get it assembled we'll be reinstalling Skyrim with all the sexy mods. Everything is top of the line, so we want all the graphical improvements as well as the sex stuff.

Well in order to give you a good modlist/order you first need to tell us what the theme is you want. A good mod list is based on opinion and theme, I could give you mine which I would definitely say is good, but it would turn your game into a lush, high res, JRPG game, where as someone else could give you another and turn it into a dark souls type game, or a full on immersive game ect. The mods I would consider useful for any install:

Death Alternatives: allows you to continue playing after death. Ties into some of the mods on this site as well
Schlongs of Skyrim: gives the men of Skyrim a penis model that can be raised/lowered
SexLabAroused - gives your character and all NPCs arousal levels, and optionally ties into SoS
Extensible Follower Framework - Improved follower handling
Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch: THIS IS A MUST - there's a ton of bugs in vanilla Skyrim that this fixes, and most modders will assume that users have it installed
Devious Devices: a lot of the mods on this site rely on DD
Improved Dragon Shouts: rebalances the dragon shouts
Balanced Magic: rebalances the vanilla spells
Populated Lands Roads Paths: makes roads less empty
Run For Your Lives: only guards will fight dragons, all others will run for shelter. Good for ensuring that a random dragon attack won't kill an important NPC who isn't marked as essential
RaceMenu: offers a better way to build your character
All-in-One HDT Animated Pussy: a female counterpart to SoS that will react to other physics objects
AddItemMenu: more convenient way to cheat items in when something goes wrong
XPMSE: an improved skeleton that some mods need
Alternate Start - Live Another Life: starts you off in a prison cell with a statue of Mara that lets you choose from various starts, and also allows the script engine time to initialize all the mods you've installed without Skyrim trying to take you through the tutorial at the same time (although you can choose to do the vanilla start if you want)
SkyUI: THIS IS A MUST - replaces most of Skyrim's menus with ones more appropriate for mouse and keyboard and provides a Mod Configuration Menu for other mods
Apocalypse - The Spell Package: adds a bunch of new spells
SerialStrip: adds a stripping animation that other mods can call - for example, its sister mod SerialStripper lets you use a button to trigger it
Auto Unequip Ammo: you'll only wear a quiver if your character has a bow out
SexLab Solutions: allows you to convince people with your body instead of your words
Content Consumer's Alternate Starts: addon to LAL that allows you to launch directly into various mods from this site
Bijin Warmaidens: cosmetic overhaul for female followers; note that you'll have to replace the body they use with the one you're using for everyone else
SlaveTats: lets you (and other mods) add markings to your character and NPCs

That is my personal load order as of right now. It's not perfect, there is an issue with some rain looking weird that I think is a conflict between EFLX and Climates of Tamriel that I haven't bothered to fix yet. In addition to all the esp:s I also have a TON of texture and mesh improvments that won't show up in the list, and there are a bunch of disabled mods that I keep in there if I want to try a different kind of character.

 

For gameplay this is a pretty unforgiving setup. I was broke and hungry and had to whore my character after being robbed within 3 days. Although that was partly my fault because I tried to see how far I could make it with a mainly non-combat character. Requiem which is my main gameplay-altering mod does not forgive that. If you don't know it de-levels the game, among other things. With 3 companions I made it to Whiterun and then back to Bleakfalls Barrow. I'm not convinced I would be able to finish the quest. I have iNeed set to companion needs, and feeding them proved to be a real challange at the start. I'll probably go back, start over, and not rush stuff like recruiting companions, doing dungeon quests and the like.

I set up my game for maximum "immersion". For me that means stuff like freezing to death, starving to death, risk getting pregnant as a female, and getting a speech-debuff if you don't regularly take a bath so this setup is very much tailored to my personal view of how Skyrim should be.

For sex-stuff it's pretty vanilla. I disabled creatures and anything that added additional animations because my game crashed more often than not on load due to the engine not being able to handle the number of animations. My computer is a beast, the engine however has some limitations, so even if a good modern computer can handle stuff doesn't mean the actual game can. For the same reason I disabled a few other mods that were putting a strain on the engine, like Wet Function (that makes you character sweat) and Footprints that I consider really good mods, but just not worth it in terms of game stability.

As HayleyRose said it's going to depend on what you're after. Everyone is into different things. If I gave you my mod list you'd get high gore and a necrophiliac cannibal's wet dream. I like it. You might not. So, if you give us an idea of what you're after, we might be able to point your to mods that could help you build the game you want.

Kashked's list is heavier than my machine can handle at present, but once I get a stable load order, I'll add in my list. It should be bare bones for beauty, but hopefully with functional action.

You might love a mod, that needs another mod, that recommends three more mods,

and each of those mods require more mods.

Load order is useless because some mods modify other mods, so a healthy workhorse of a mod

is ruined by some defunct (but cute) mod from yesteryear.

Then there are the endless INI tweaks you can only get from reading tons of forum posts.

6 months into your little project, after you've updated the main mods and dumped the faulty ones,

Patched the Patches and tweaked the tweaks, uhm,
