Can't Play Any SL Mods! Game Crashes!

Ever since I tried playing a freshly installed and cleaned version of Skyrim with all the latest updates in various Sexlab mods, including defeat, more nasty critters, prison overhaul, apropos, etcetera., and it's required files, my game continuously crashes. I know its the sexlab files that are crashing the game because I can play it without problem without those mods installed.

 

I used LOOT and reorganized the mods according to a few load orders I found scattered on here when LOOT didn't touch them, but it made no difference. I don't have any mods from here installed currently so it wouldn't really make sense to show the load order I have now anyway. It'd be nice to be able to play some of the mods, but so far I haven't found a way how.

 

Someone said that the newer versions of some of the mods, such as the new version of the framework itself, defeat, and zaz are broken and don't work well together or with the game at all. I deleted all the old versions I had of those mods so I wouldn't be able to use older versions either.  I'm not sure what to do. Anyone have any ideas?

I recently uninstalled MNC and haven't crashed since.

1.Don't install a bunch of mods at once.

2.Read the instructions of each mod and the last few pages of the support thread for each mod.

please clarify "my game continuously crashes"  ...what part of it will the crash happen at?

best to start small then and test each addition until you start getting the same CTDs

Posting your load order would likely help since someone might recognize a conflict from their own experiences

A. Did you install and test the mods one at a time? Install the framework and make sure that it works before installing any other sex mod. Sex mods are the #1 most likely class of mods to break the game. Also, do not think that just because you can start a new game the mods you have are stable. In order to do a "complete test" I always go down the following checklist:

 

1. Can a new game be started without crashing

2. Can the game successfully load everything you intend to play with in the final iteration

3. Can you make it to Riverwood without crashing, testing things like combat and animations along the way

4. Can you sleep without things fucking up (some mods initiate on a sleep event)

5. Can you pass 8am Mondas without things fucking up (some mods initiate at this time)

6. Can you make it into Whiterun without things fucking up, again testing things like combat and animations

7. Can you successfully load a save after all of that without it crashing

 

B. Did you go over the limit of what the game engine can handle? Either the game engine or your PC could be the weak link. The game engine itself has a limit to how many animations it can load, how many FPS it can process, etc. because Bethesda is terrible.
