Is it possible to fit custom race head to another body type?

Hello there guys! Today I decided to have a look at some custom races that were created for FO3/NV and to my surprise I do really like a lot some of them. Problem is that these races were created to fit a type 6 body and so while using them on type 3 they do have an horrible neck seam. Is there a way to adapt them to a type 3 body maybe? Thanks in advance for help ^^

there is a way, but i do not know it.  I use distributed necklaces, to cover the gap dog tags work best.  I also is Clothing evaluator, which lets you set items, to stay on during sex animations.

Yeah I use them too but they don't work that great with a big void between neck and body, they do look fine with vanilla races tough

You could try using Gerra6's seam mender to try to fix the seams. It's found in the modders resources section on LL.

Yes i'm trying to use it but the instructions on the main pages seems lacking. Which nif should I choose as template for example, the body or the head of the custom race?

Not sure I have never used it before but your best bet would be to post in the seam mender thread as that is where people that have used it would be able to help you.

Alright I tryed using seam mender and i think i managed to understand how it does work. The main problem is it does crash during the process cause apparently the gender can't be detected or something like that.

Anyone know a solution to this? I tryed writing in the seam mender thread but it looks like it's dead :\

Ho come l'impressione di conoscere quel nick. Mi sbaglio forse?
